Pro Street - Massive Updates
First up, we have a new Producers blog at Need For Speed.com, this time it is written by Mike Upton, and is titled AAA-Synchronous.
Mike describes the nostalgic ways of old arcade-machine from his childhood and its relation to the modern Online Asynchronous Race-Events we will have in Need for Speed ProStreet.
excerpt from article.
I remember pretty clearly living in Markham, Ontario, and going with my brother to the local pizza place to pop a few quarters in to the Asteroids machine. The place was one of those budget pizza joints, cheap slices of grease-dripping goodness of nothing more than cheap cheese and cheap pepperoni. The carpet was shag, and it ran up the walls of the place. And tucked into a cramp corner at the back entrance, next to the john, were the coin ops and a lineup of the local kids, quarters at the ready.
