so let me get this straight... this is EAs Caprice, obviously, and XJ220 supplied the modified version of it to you.

if thats the case, then what did you do?

I think he made it available from the menu and not only replacing the default one.

Hmmm...I had released this very same car for this specific purpose but, for anyone to use as a base for their own modifications....it would have liked to have seen something else done to it other than a simple stock transfer.

Take a look at the wireframe VJ5 or at the discription of my release. It Is NOT EAs STOCK Caprice.

OK, Ill check it - I know youve added various 3D Parts but...from what I can see...you are using stock textures giving it a stock appearance and isnt that the purpose ....to release a version that des not look stock ? Just my opinion. But, as far as the mesh is concerned...Ie seen it...there is nothcing scratch-made about it...so, Im not sure why you even mention it ?

At any rate, Im just voicing my opinion, Im not trying to belittle the car nor its efforts.

Youre right about the textures and yes thats the purpose. But sometimes the details can be very important. And what I said about the wireframe, I was thinking of the real wheelgaps which were added. So nearly the whole sides are new. But I understand what you mean - could use more modification... but thats hard if you want to keep the poly-count low. And thats necessary especially for the pursuit-mode...

Not trying to outdo you or something with these comments.

No- dont get me wrong...please ! I never meant to belittle you nor give the impression that I thought you were trying to out-do me- not at all, y freind...I think its great to have some low-poly cars  I am actually in the process of setting up a new car editing topic called, Low Poly Concepts specifically for low-poly cars for NFS 3...not everyone has up to the latestes spec computers and I think that low poly should be kept alive and wll...so, by all means...keep pushing them out  :super:

Thanks :-) And its not only for people with low end PCs , but also the fact that NFS4 doesnt support too many polies - unfortunately. BUT, one of my next projects is definitely going to be a v2 of this. WITH NOT AT ALL STOCK TEXTURES  :super:

Try using some of the NFS 6 Cop textures....personally, I think the badges look much better...you can pull them off of any of the Pursuit Car Concept cars and use the 3D Wheels or anything thats attached to them for that matter

Hope to see your next project quite soon :super:
