Description

Hello everyone,
This is my first car, pls dont bash it too badly. I didnt do the normals that geat (Cuz I really dont understand how) and I left out the door lines on purpose.
It has;
-Manny 3D parts (I.E. bumpers, headlights, mirrors, doorhandles, exhuast... ect...
-high poly car, (Ummm like around 9,000 something... slow comps beware
-Clear windows
-sound files
-No damage (I might make a V2.0 and it will have that.)
-No Dash.. same as above.. it may be on the V2.0

This car is scratch made only the interior was imported from EAs M5. Other than that I made it all, and pls dont edit nor upload to another site.

good start...... id redo those headlights though..... i think they could be done better.... and i WOULD add doorlines..... it would help alot

I left out the door lines on this one on purpose. There was a big stink about door lines on this one car added a little while ago, and this car had door lines but were hard to see, but due to my opinion that i think they really dont matter i took them off of my car. Also the headlights did need work but i got tired of messing with this car and just finnished it up. Curently I am working on 3 new cars, a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT, 2002 Toyota Celica GT and a 2002 Chevy Cavalier LS. And these cars will have doorlines (lol), as well as damage and a dash. The Toyota will be released first as it is about 40% done. Well thankx for the good comments and the constructive comments!

i wouldnt bother with the Celica.... Stecki already mopped the floor with EVERYONE on that. LOL.

looks good for a first car, btw dont add doorlines, textures look much nicer when used properly(like with CPD and fivespeed), try reducing polycount as well to avoid game lag.

Well Ares I am doing a Celica because I like them. Not because I am trying to out do anyone. These cars that I am doing will not have such a high poly count either. I dunno how I got so carried away on this one. As for the door lines, well.. I have already aded and mapped them, so they will be there. I will not draw lines on my tga and texture the lines, I will make thier own faces and mapp them because it seems easier and looks better in my opinion.

looks awesome od. from what i saw of your cavalier so far on the nfs design board, looks great, i think it will be one of the best out there. any of you want to know why, check out the nfs design message board.

Thankx everyone for the great comments. There will be an updated version released very soon. I smoothed it out, added new rims, damage, dash, normals re-worked, improved the preformance, new sound files & I remamed it (Since it looks more like a M5 now. Will be out soon!
