Amazing job, Ares! I see just one problem with it: rims. They should have thicker spokes and they should be dark, not chrome.....

that is one fit-ass car. yeah i agree the spokes need to be just a liiittle bit more industrial, but overall its amazing! Everything 3D? I guess its really hi-poly?! Great stuff

Yea..... it is a little small isnt it? Actually i think the cop is out of proportion to the rest of my NFS cars..... i should fix that... lol.
I also think the rims ned to be darker..... I didnt bother messing with the texture when i got them from Georg, ill fix that for the next release....

well after playing with the Z06 for awhile, I must say, this car looks very much like my Corvette model car ;)

for people that think theres scaling problems with the car, let me point out that the Crown Vic cop car in the screenshot is scaled too big. also, the Corvette is a very low riding car and shouldnt be raised higher.

a great improvement over the previous Corvette by Ares. however, theres some little nitpicky things bothering me about it. #1, is it Z06 or ZO6? to my knowledge, considering that all Z-model Chevrolet cars have Z followed by two numbers (eg: Z24, Z26, Z28, Z34, Z71, etc.) I imagine its Z06.

also, theres the Top Up/Down option, but the car doesnt have a convertible option. :(

Id suggest a T-top conversion, should there be a future release.

hmmm, never thought about that. based on that fact, it IS probably Z06,though i always hear everybody refer to them as z-o-6s
Sadly there is no softtop or coupe option for the Z06.... I personally think it would look better as a Coupe, but hey, thats what chevy decided soooooooo.......

I think there are a few T-top vettes actually. So i might do one. but the next vettes in the lineup are the convertable and cop one.

as far as im concerned, Ares seems to have come out from nowhere and showed up with a very well made last generation Corvette.

Ares seems to be a very picky guy, always ranting and using lots of irony and tons of sarcasm, but he makes good cars, as its easily seen by the screenshot.

this Z06 has the same positive points as his previous Covette had: it feels like a solid piece of modelling, with nice textures and some delicious 3D details. it has damage and EAs dashboard. also, we have to give him the credit of making what is, still, the best Z06 avaliable for NFS4.

as for the bad points of this car: there are no really bad thing about this car, but it seems that the car is a little bit too high, compared with the Corvette (wich was a C5 and not a Z06) ive seen in real life. it as also a considerable number of polygons, wich intreferes in the performace with a full grid in low-end computers, but even so, its not a ridiculous number of polies, so its not that bad. and tes, thats about it for downers.

i thought that the Z06 seats were multy-coloured, but that may be just me, as ive seen some pictures of Z06 with mono-cloured seats.

Ares probably doesnt give a thing about what i or anyone feels about his car, and he is in his right. every author makes its cars has he wants to. anyway, despite the mentioned downers, this car manages to be one of the best NFS4 cars avaliable and well worthy of being in the Hall of Fame. as for my rating, it goes away with a sumptuous 17/20.

I think its quite good too, but the front still looks a bit off to me..... i dunno.... it may just be me.

I am picky when it comes to making cars..... i wont release a beta till it at least looks like it should. thats part of the reason it didnt come out sooner. I do use alot of irony and sarcasm.

The texture could use some work actually...... i just textured so little its not apparent. there isnt damage..... unless you added it to yours. If i rember right the poly count is around 7K so its no lightweight, but it could have much more. Actually if it had more the normalsd probably look better.

The seats are multi-colored i belive..... but i didnt feel like going through to change them. i only focus on the body of a car normally.

I dont care about what most ppl think of my work..... i know i have some skill so sometimes ill just upload something to spite the wannabes that think there the shit cuz they can stick somneones spoiler on someones elses car and think there the shit becuase of it. I am quite glad that you all put me in the HOF though..... i dont have much motivation to do any major editing ATM, but i probably will later knowing me..... heh.........

hey mecha, just to inform you, there were two z cars that had two letters then, one number. They were the 1969 camaro and corvette. title: ZL1 camaro and ZL1 corvette. they had an all aluminum block 427 powere plant tat was rated at 430 HP. they made 69 camaros and 2 (yes, only two) corvettes. they were the fastest cars chevy put out onto the street in 1969. they were purebred racecars. anyway, it is Z06, but i just thought i would mention the baddest cars chevy put together in the muscle car era.

figured Id mention that Dodge Boys cars (the pursuit car in the screenshot) tend to run a little bigger in scale. thats why it looks huge compared to the Corvette. the Corvette is modeled fine, just the Crown Vic is overscaled slightly. hehe

this car is really nice but it is slightly small mecha, its not just that the cop is too big. compared to the other vette and other cars it looks a lot smaller

you can replace the default cop cars with downloaded ones by copying the car.viv file into one of the police car files in the traffic/pursuit/ directory. other than that i dont think there is a way to have downloaded cops chase you.

hey smath16, you forgot to mention the ZR1 that dominated the late 80s/early 90s and the ZR2 S-10 that was made in the mid-90s I think.

anyway, this is an excellent car by Ares. The front does look a little bit off, as does the rear windshield, but other than that it looks great.

I love this car, everytime I re-install NFS HS I download this Corvette, there isnt a better one out there in my opinion!
