Description

This traffic pack serves the same purpose as my NFS3 traffic pack. This will help Windows XP users cut down on game crashes due to high poly counts. It should also help slow computers run the game smoother. I might release a mixed traffic pack with both NFS3 and NFS4 traffic cars at some point.

Changes made to the traffic cars:

-Mirrors, interiors, pop up models, and other unnecessary parts removed to decrease poly count.

-Light dummies tweaked on cop cars.

-Cop cars are very fast which will make it very hard to escape them.

In case youre wondering why I still have that cop car from my NFS3 pack in here, its simply because I liked it. I run on XP and there used to be certain tracks I couldnt race on in Pursuit mode, but now I can use any car on any track, no matter what. Its really weird that just a low poly traffic pack can work such wonders. I bet it works well with slow computers too. I just thought that some people would appreciate this as much as I do. Hope you guys like it! Have fun with the fast cops; theyll do some very funny wrecks and stuff too :).

Thanks 2fast4u, Ive had problems with playing NFS4 since I installed XP, its a great idea havin low poly traffic to speed things up.

Thank you 2fast4u. This low poly traffic pack really works :super: and finally I can drive high poly cars on the foreign tracks like durham road, celtic runis etc. The cop cars are amazing. Did you by chance put NOS in the police cars, they can even catch up on the lambo murcielago, f575m1 and so on. Super work you have done :super:

Nope, no NOS in the cop cars. Their only weakness is top speed, which is around 178mph or so. For those of you that still get game crashes or you want the game to run even smoother in Hot Pursuit mode, you can expect a low poly cop car pack coming Monday. The file size will be larger, though, since itll be the drivable cars. Well, glad to see everything going well. Thanks.

I Crash when i download cars sometimes, is there any way to avoid that? like making it so my computer can take that many poly?
