hmmm......High poly patch again.It is probably explained before, but all you have to do is turn reflections off (reflection=0) in these menus: car1 , car2, opponent , repair1 , Cr_garag , Cr_circ , Cr_show , Cr_upgrd.

True, but the idea is to make it easy for those who know pretty much only installation of cars and not much more.

this does work way better than the original HIGH POLY PATCH!

Logan, HOW exactly does this one work better than the original High Poly Patch? There is no difference in the way it works!

This patch also replaces the Cr_troph and Cr_stand.mnu, but I see no reason for that, the car is not visible in those menus.

Reflections are turned off (reflection=0). There wasnt the necessity of point out it.
This patch works correctly in a computer with:
1000 mHz of processor, 128 Mb of RAM, Windows 95/98/XP and 64 Mb of Video Card.

This patch works well on all Windows platforms, I think.

Does this work in Pursuit Mode?

It should work in any mode, this patch only allows the game to display high poly cars in menu by disabling the car reflections.

Btw. This patch is quite good but i prefer using the newest 3DSetup patch, it also includes the High Poly.

I have XP and it doesnt work. Please get a self extracting version!

Help. This won't install. My start menu doesn't say install 3d periphal.

same with me but it works great tottaly improved every part of the game for some weird reason idk lol actaully made it runable even tho my game still lags like a few secounds bc of high poly cars and my lack of ram.

Im using the d3d.dll file, loving it. Vid card not supported, may cause unpredicable blah blah, game runes fine on a computer not made for the game.

64mg Nvidia
2g RAM(this confuses the game and tells me limited resources rofl)

Im using Martin Leps' menu fixes and this dll, game runs perfectly now.

Btw using the old Dx6 dll, my mouse was buggy ingame, now it runs smoothly even whith the disc not spun up. The game also runs and looks alot better on max res.

After I installed it does not work on two of the cars I got from this site. can you find a way to make it work on a car with up to 5000 polies

This makes high poly cars visible in the menus, just overwrite those old menu files with these.

what Version of High Stakes Has those Options he is Requesting to Change mine doesnt even have a few of them and it Never asked anythigng about a 3d periphrial or anything? anyways this used to work wel but idk if some other download is to improve it more but jw bc it doesnt seem to improve much now I still get lag a every once and awhile and cant do full grid without alot of lag....

I don't know how to download or install the high poly patch for my NFS game. Can someone please show me how to correctly download this high poly patch because I have recently downloaded several cars for High Stakes and when the track is loading, the screen goes blank and I have to restart my whole game. And some of my cars ( downloaded) don't look as great as they do on the screen shots.
