Description
Here is a wholly updated version of my original V8 Interloper. This one has better proportions, much more detail, a hotter driver, new engine sounds, an improved dash view, and a new optional front air dam. Don't be ashamed to unbutton a couple shirt buttons when you drive this bad boy! It will work in the menu with the high poly patch.

Woot, hot driver and nice car ;).
All i can manage is a giddy
~hooray!~
I love the Interloper! I'll kind of miss the -STEALTH- engine noises, but it can't be all bad. Looks a lot more like a race version than the original, what with the front spoiler and the be-lettered tyres.
Took a gaudy 70's supercar and made it even better!
WoooW great news, works on the menu. My comp can barely limp by the first V8 without crashing, and the Fantom and Red Cloud crash, all with the patch. Could this really be true? Hope so, can't download for another week the new Intruders. It's just me and my fantacies until then...
oh wow, you can actually see the drivers nipples?! lol COOL! May I use that driver :D ?
reminds me the Mustang boss. Its actually a cool concept.
The Interloper is indeed a cool car.I still like the first one more.I tried the original careng.bnk, but didn't hear any difference.
^It is like a Boss, isn't it? A Boss with a new arse put on it.
lol Never noticed teh nipples. Could the driver undo some shirt bottons instead?
Now, I don't know why I'm mentioning this, but it can't hurt, so I will: Would it be possible to do a modern version of the Interloper? If this is a 70's car, why not make what the car looks like now in 2007? Got the idea looking at the 08 Viper.
Sheat. The front looks so intimidating. Meh want! :D
Full Review:
The Interloper started life as an incrediblly simple design; no distracting doorlines or trim, just a smooth "Rediculous Purple" body draped around a glass hatch and an engine. And my, have times changed since then. The generation 2 Interloper is, in essence, the same car, but with with a new dramatic twist that turns it into something we've never seen before. The little Interloper is all grown up; it's a race car now.
I loved it as soon an I saw it, really, the new Interloper. It looked just like the old one, but with some racy-looking bobbles and bolt-ons, along with Intruder OT Radial race tires to boot. It seems a little lower to the ground than the original, and it has recieved a mild face-lift, giving it a bit of a resemblance to the the old Mustang Boss of the late 60's and early 70's. It also earned a nifty little airfoil on the front; it contributes to almost everything mentioned above. I knew from the first instant that this new breed of Interloper was a top performer in the looks department, but was it's bite as great as its bark?
I keep my copy of the Interloper in Brick Red. It looks racy enough (more than enough), and the newer purple doesn't have the same eye-bulging impact that Rediculous Purple did. I prepared my settings and rolled it out onto the Eurocircuit. I let the engine get a good helping of yelps in before tapping the stick into first gear. I took off like a rocket. As I started to take the firt curve, I took a glance to the side to watch the scenery fly by my window. I quickly panicked as my nose tilted towards the ground. Woah! Severe body roll! That's something you don't see often! I found that feature very interesting. It makes the drive much more realistic (and 70's-ish for that matter), but it creates the NFS4 equivalent of driving a Rolls-Royce. It also makes the steering feel very inaccurate and mushy, which I didn't enjoy at all, but at the mostly round Eurocircuit, I found it managable, but I'd hate to drive it through twistier tracks. Luckily, the top speed isn't limited to 144mph any more. it's now been raised to a cutoff of 149. At least the acceleration is better suited to a somewhat low top speed this time; it's harder to get up to max after you hit 100mph, so you don't find yourself dawdling around on the redline, bored out of your mind with no proper racing action, which is what I found myself doing often in the gen. 1 Interloper.
I suppose I like the Intruder V8 Interloper Mk2 better, due to it's greater look and more entertaining performance, but trust me, the original will always have a place in my collection.
Wow! Thanks for the review! Very nice. I'm glad someone's enjoying my efforts. Guess what? I am indeed working on a modern Interloper as per your request.
Stylizer!
Can I please convert this car into re-volt.
Thanks in advance
Robenue.
I submmited some screenshots, BTW, great car!
