Description

I've been working on this design off and on for a couple years now. I would call it a fairly mild design for a concept but just imagine it as a replacement for that godawful Monaro thing from a few years back.

The Pontiac GTO is the father of the musclecar and this version seeks to express some of the power and style of the originals without resorting to explicit design cues like some of the "retro" designs out there.

I have to admit that you have made a very beautiful work on this car. The idea of the design and the whole model were finely made.

The Monaro wasn't awful. It wasn't good to use it as a GTO but it wasn't awful itself.

Great bodylines.The grill is very retro (like the 70's Firebirds). Side-view reminds me of a '69 Buick riviera GS. Good dash again.Fantastic car

I use the Raceway 2 track in Camera A view in replay. There are a few different spots that give you good up close shots like the ones you see here.


Thanks for the kind words, everybody! It's really nice that people like my stuff and are excited about it, considering how much work goes into it. If people keep enjoying them I'll keep making them. I mean Intruder will keep making them...

Very impressive design, Facet. Keep up the good work. Only crit i can say is that the
dash view looks a bit too simple, missing details. But the overall work is great :)

I totally agree with HSVrules - the last GTO looked great, just not very GTO-ish. Nevertheless, this is exceptional, great work!

Yeah, I know the dash is simple. The truth is I HATE MAKING DASHES!! I love doing the outside of the car but the interior is a total drag and I always just want to get it finished as fast as possible so I can release the car.

I hate making dashes too, specially because many times its very unrealistic. You can check that my conversions haven´t interior.

Yeah! The Monaro wasn't awful! Actually, I like the present GTO than that! By ht eway where'd you get the design of this car, it's pretty nice, though. But I still like the 2007 GTO better!
