Hey mate, a great car.

One thing though; Australian Police cars have updated their design, and did a while ago. The current design is (and it's even a lancer)

Just thought I'd let you know

@Alpha 920:
Sweet pic. I knew about the design you mentioned, but since it's hard to combine with both a multi-texture cruiser AND high-quality textures, I decided to go with the older one. The German skin is a bit out-dated as well, but I like it more than all the others one sees around here.

Classic green/white scheme is superior anyway. And modern German scheme share the same problem with Australian checkered design. To do it properly along with dashed lines, it would require more space on the tga at the expense of something else.

@ Martin:
Exactly. But after a lot of research I did some time ago, I found pics of a modern German POLIZEI car featuring graphics which can easily be done in HS - silver base, blue trunk and blue stripe on the sides >without< reflectors. But green/white still rules :D

As for the Australian skin, I regard it as some kind of bonus skin anyway so I'm not going to improve it if that affects the other textures. Especially since the style I currently use is not totally wrong.

@ KrazyBoy & TruePro: Glad you like it :)

I know, Hamburg design from 2002. Also there is way to keep reflective stripes in the markings, but Brandenburg design suffers of lowercase lettering.

As I can see once again, you're very well informed my friend :) Additionally to what you said, the reflective stripes would reduce the lettering's resolution. So Hamburg wins :D

Dark1: I see I'm not the only one who likes the classic green & white or green & silver polizei vehicles as opposed to their new blue & white or blue& silver schemes.

Check out my profile for a group dedicated to the polizei XD.

You most likely try to race with too many high-poly cars installed. Should work with cars less detailed.
