It's an original mesh converted from either GTR or GTR2(I can't tell which). And I might add that it looks better in NFS5 than it does in GTR2...scary, since there's 6 years of game engine development between the two. And I must say that it appears to be a very well done conversion--I haven't tried, but I hear it's difficult to export from GTR ;)

Thanks for the comments guys . @ Robbie, the car is from GTR2 and they really aren't that bad to export . It takes about two minutes using "Game Extracter" then about 10 min. to import the parts you want into Z-Modeler2 then export as an old z3d .
The textures are all extracted using the "game extracter" in .dds format and I've been using "I-Ripper" to convert them to bitmap and extract the alpha channel. Really not that difficult ;)
GTR is a totally different story, all the texture mapping is reset upon export... Kinda sucks.
