Regarding use of "Report"

Due to the rash of useless reports the moderators and admin have received lately, I feel that I should make a formal announcement regarding the use of the report button for car comments as well as forum posts.


Car comments report will NOT go to the author of the car, only moderators and admin, so making comments like:

is not needed, use report only if there is flaming comments, or to report a stolen model.
Use the Private Messaging system that is in your User Control Panel for discussion and requesting information from an author or another user


Report in News Articles to reply to other users like:

This is not seen by other users and thus, is useless.

Report and add comment are two seperate links and please read instead of assuming that report was read as reply.


On to the forums.
Report is ONLY to be used when wanting to report SPAM, Warez, pornographic material, or flamewars outside of the Flame & Banter Section.

-Use Discretion when pushing the report button, and justify a proper reason instead of something as trivial as:
