Not everyone has a DVD drive, but most newer computers come with DVD drives though.

like ramos said, not everyone has a dvd player..

yes, its cheaper to produce 1 dvd compared to 4 cds, but who the hell cares, the bigger it is, the harder it is for people to rip the game..

for all i care EA could use the Star**** protection and be sure that it cant be copied illegally.

I wonder from where you came up with that conclusion? It is true, it may take a little bit longer but it's definately not harder, trust me, I know from experience.;)

I agree with the thread maker, why make a CD version and who doesn't have a DVD player, I mean c'mon, you can find one for sale for a couple of bucks, it's practically a steal. Blu-Ray and HD DVDs are coming out and you're still stuck with CDs? I agree you shouldn't have to stay up-to-date with the latest technology but don't sleep under the stone-age rock...

hm... yes its harder but not imposible...
if someone know abit about ripping he can remove music , some videos and other things like credits and other game presentations inside carbon... riping carbon IS POSIBLE...

That website is worthless. There is no information there on the new game at all, just a short video.
I don't know what the game is all about, but I hope it is not another one of their graveyard shift night only racers.
