Went out yesterday to the pool hall and stopped by in the game shop to have a look about and i was talking to the n00b at the counter and i asked if he had any news on carbon. " yes theres a demo of it just to your left" oh yeah! had a little play, auto sculpt will be good if they mae few changes, like making it so you can do MORE to your car! the gameplay was okay, the engine is a lot more realistic than MW :)

But i think there is drift, as said by one of the games programmers. i saw a video of it, and the cars seem to slide a helluva lot, but didnt look too hard to control

yeah, i want a proof, i'd ****ING LOVE to see real time shit of NFS:C and not only pics and stuff...i mainly judge on buying a game by playing the demo...pics and magazines dont really judge for me. (guess same goes for most of us...its just like that...for racing games!)

Ive played it at the GC in Leipzig. Downhill Drift Race with a red Evo. Pretty hard but a lot of fun. A definite buy for me.

Having said that, I have half a mind to head to the local mall and check out the game stores...though I probably won't.

I havent had chance to get a picture due to having to help prepare for my sisters wedding, which passed on saturday just gone, if anyone still cares im going into town tomorrow, and if its still there then i will get a picture or two

I´m not familiar with Initial D. No chance to get it here in Germany. The race went like this: You have to stay close to the car in front of you, you are getting some points you have to collect. At the second race you have to stay in front of this other car.

Anyways, here in Canada (well I haven't checked yet as of mid-August) no demo yet, but if any people can trot in Best Buy, Future Shop, etc., can you tell me if the demo is out? (Or I guess I can in September, when school starts again).

From what I gather on other threads, it seems people are referring to some illegal version of a demo on the Internet? I guess I'm a little behind. Like most of us, probably, I intend to purchase Carbon whether or not I like the screenshots or demos...but then, like most of us, I can't help but be curious during the two months that remain.

You know, early demo's do make it out in various forms. Some of them get rleased to public ahead of their marketing schedule.

The EA Ausie V8 game was found on a CD in cases of Castrol motor oil sold in Austrailia as I remember, when no one else in the world could get their hands in it. The original Toca Pro Race Driver was burned ahead of schedule on a magazine demo CD by accident, which I quickly located and purchased.

There probably is a NFSC demo out there, but it is probably not supposed to be disstributed at this time. Or it my be region specific marketing.

Its an iso (image) file of one of the freebie demos handed out at the Games Convention in Lepizig.
So no, the demo is not 'officially' released.

Here it is just 7 days before the game is released and still no PC demo. Somethings' up.
