Ok, I wrote a Carbon Walkthrough since last year and finished through April-May this year. (It can be found at GameFAQs, under my name, Slay3rH3ll)

It's time that I should write one when the game comes out.
It's your decision, Yes or No. Every vote counts.

The final decision is made when the option gets 40 votes. (if 40 votes for yes, the walkthrough will be written / if 40 votes for no, the walkthrough will NOT be written.)

Start Voting!

Absolutely, Yes I think its a good idea. I have played all NFS's except for the first one and eventhough I do pretty good without it I always learn something new. I can beat then without it and I never use it the first time playing and beating it. I use it the second time to improve the gaming experience.

what if neither option gets 40 votes, or both get over 40?

I voted yes.

But DR should probably write the walkthrough either way imo.

if you are looking for recognition for being a guy who did a pro street walkthrough just for the sake of oing it to get attention instead of gaining recognition for being a guy who did a excellent work on making a pro street walkthrough because he felt like doing, my vote would be no.

heck... i voted no anyway, nfs are quite straight forward games this days....

I don't think you need this poll. If you can play the game well (when it comes out), by all means post a walkthrough.

The reason I write is because people might need help. However, you might find it pointless.

Seeing the results there are 3 NO Votes, I might think i'm bad at Grammar then.

DO IT!!!!! HWOOOH!!!! @#$!@$%& Really, you should do one. I dunno about those people who said no... but it's your choice and I think you should do one.

And those who need help are actually the majority. Ever since Underground 1, NFS has had a big share of players who don't know basic things such as braking or proper racing line.

A few of them are just arrogant n00bs, but most of them are willing to learn.

actually, i don`t think a walkthrough is obligate for a driving game, but if you like to write it, go on :)

What happens with the walkthrough if there is a tie in the poll DR? Right now there's 12 yes votes and 12 no votes.

honestly, there's no real point, but if you're desperate for attention go for it.

if it's a tie, it's still considered as i'm NOT going to write.

It's your choice. But... go for it.

Like I said before do it. Yeah there are a lot of people that say naw I don't need one, well that fine. I don't really need one either but the fact remains is eventhough I can play it and I can get through it without it, it helps with setting myself up to have a better car and overall gaming experience. Like I said though to I don't use it the first time I play the game, I use it after I have beaten the game or gotten as far as I can without help. Then the second time around look out because armed with a game guide- GAME ON!!! Thanks again Dark Ritual.

Yes - 17 Votes
No - 12 Votes

It seems like this thread died out very quick, so I had better bump.

I only play racing games so I don't need a walkthrough but I'll vote yes for the douchebags that can't drive :P

JK! :D

lemme put it this way to shorten the poll.

Whichever option reaches 20 votes, wins. By all means, the walkthrough will be written. (Because Yes has 20 votes.)

If a walkthrough is to be done - perhaps just a writeup to explain how the tuning features work (For those who cannot make heads or tales of it)... To give an idea of the effects with the extreme ends of the spectrum.

Maybe there should also be a General NFScars.net sticky regarding lines and basic driving technique.

Perhaps we should get the ball rolling? :D

If that was directed at me, Zombi, then I'll let you know as soon as I grab my copy of PS. Then give me a week to fiddle around with the game.

Those who can do, do. Those who cannot, teach! lol! I think you should go ahead., after all the walkthrough would help those who need it, and those who don't won't be hurt by it being written.

So make my vote a yes.
