11-13-2007, 11:53 PM

I demand pictures of you drifting in the snow. But do not attempt unless you are a professional on a closed course.

11-20-2007, 02:40 PM
nice hollow demand there RM :P
damn, all of these cars make mine look soooooo wimpy ffs!

11-21-2007, 01:18 AM
I demand pictures of you drifting in the snow. But do not attempt unless you are a professional on a closed course.

There's still not enough snow on the ground right now to pull off some "good" drifitng. I'll get Linkin to shoot some shots when it snows more though.

11-21-2007, 09:05 AM
There's plenty of snow to drift, trust me. :)

11-21-2007, 10:13 AM
brrr, looks cold in canada right now :/ - it looks that it wont even snow here this year :/

- Rick.

11-21-2007, 10:53 PM
There was enough snow in Calgary last night and today. The roads last night were absolutely awful. Cars were everywhere. I did some drifting with my truck on my driveway today.

Your car looks great. How does it handle in the snow?

11-22-2007, 12:27 AM
It wasn't too bad. The rear end is (like most RWD's) a little light and will step out pretty easily, but the ATS-C quickly steps in to help you gain control. I may still end up throwing some sand bags or something in the back when it really starts to snow, but we'll see.

11-22-2007, 06:21 AM
sand bags?? hahaha... Dude, just put a bunch of girls in the back!

Updated my first post, as well as my cardomain ( site. I haven't had the money to invest in Nikki lately, but I am saving money to send her off to the body shop to smooth out her imperfections. I also have my eye's on a set of H&R Sport springs, which will lower her about 1.5" all around! :D And here are some video's I have of her in action, starting with the oldest first:
Havin' some fun slippin' around on gravel. ( ( (
Me and a few of my buddie's were screwing around last halloween... first started with paintballs, then some failed doughnuts. (
Quick acceleration video... Rolling start, shifting around 6,000 RPM. 5 Kmh - about 135 Kmh (3 mph - 83 mph).

And for RM:

There are your driftin' videos. I know they suck, but think of them as a teaser for whats to come... :P

01-27-2008, 08:58 AM
Nice videos there Driv3r.

That there is a fine car. Those are some pretty cool shots you've got there. I especially love the captions.

03-04-2008, 03:13 AM
Those pictures are fierce. E31 FTW!

New wheels and tires?

03-15-2008, 09:01 PM

Just tires to go on my summer wheels.

$580 brand new. $300 used (barely - under 3000Km's on them).

03-15-2008, 09:11 PM
That's where I got my summer tires from!

03-15-2008, 09:24 PM
What a surprise, me too.

04-05-2008, 08:01 PM
So I intended to wash my car, go to a European car meet, and snap some pics. That is until Mother Nature stepped in.

Friday Afternoon:
Saturday Morning:

Yuppers, 10 Cm's of Snow!

I was snow plowing my way around town, so when I got to work my front end looked like so:

LoL, I didn't even bother washing it but I did snap some pics with the summer tires on:

It's really warmed up here, so much that I went and detailed Nikki the other day inside and out. By the time I was finished the sun was setting and provided a nice backdrop for a photoshoot:

I like the last picture the best :)

04-10-2008, 03:10 PM

These two would make a great signature.

04-22-2008, 10:45 PM
Well. It looks like Nikki will soon have some junk in da trunk :D

Picked up a 12" Kenwood KFC-W3011 Subwoofer for an unbelievable deal. As soon as I build/ buy a ported box, Amp and Wiring she's going in! Hopefully by then our recently accuired snow will be gone.

05-14-2008, 11:33 PM
New audio upgrades:

Whats you see:
- 12" Kenwood 400W Sub / Amp combo in a Bassworks ported box
- Scosche iPod Touch vent mount with 16 Gig iPod Touch

And a new picture, just cause I can.

05-15-2008, 03:40 PM
Is there rust in your trunk? Anyways, I bet that thing sounds pretty cool. :)

The last picture's very nice.

05-15-2008, 10:59 PM
iphone? great stuff, aint it? :)

any way, i love the last picture. it really shows off your brilliant bmw very well.

05-28-2008, 12:16 AM
Thanks guys.

Killua: Thats only a small bit of it. Theres rust and dents all over her.
Sage: Its just a 16G Touch. Still cool none the less.

Got outta class early last week, So I went and snapped some pics of the 3'er. Hoping this is the last "Photoshoot" I post of the car being in such poor shape. Also need to test the new siggy :)

Feel free to criticize and leave comments!

05-28-2008, 05:07 PM
That's a gorgeous photoshoot of your BMW. IMO, it would have been great at those pyramids if you made a front angle shot with the wheels turning to a side.

05-31-2008, 06:24 PM
Took this quick snap tonight after work. Not sure who the creep is in the background, but he kept trying to trade me his beater for my car. :x

07-20-2008, 02:11 AM
Finally. I voted for this one sooo many times that its not even funny.

07-20-2008, 06:24 AM
...THAT is one awesome Bimmer alongside with Linkin's E30.

07-20-2008, 10:40 AM
LOL you guys finallly meet up? :)

07-20-2008, 03:37 PM
LOL you guys finallly meet up? :)

We've known each other for 7 years Rick. :P

07-20-2008, 05:50 PM
its always great to see your meets photoshoot, they always look so great.

07-24-2008, 03:34 AM
well i ment car wise, not person wise, linkin :)

07-24-2008, 01:55 PM
Lol, Nikki gets to see Linkin's car every week :P

07-24-2008, 06:48 PM
damn bimmer girls dating.. pssh.. They should go for a threesome.

07-24-2008, 11:33 PM
Care to join?

07-25-2008, 05:13 PM
Hmm bimmer girls...3 some....that does sound fun haha

07-25-2008, 06:20 PM
Care to join?
Eventually. I was thinking of one of those meets this weekend if I'm up to it. Decent photos around then.

08-29-2008, 11:59 PM
Got board, so I washed her today.

Yes, that is a "For Sale" sign in the window.

08-30-2008, 01:24 AM
are you selling it?!

08-30-2008, 01:33 AM
Why would you sell such a good looking car? It's served you for 134k miles, why sell it now? Unless you want to buy a better version of this or something. It reminds of the M5 to a degree, the front and back are very similar. Unless that for sale sign is a joke.....

08-30-2008, 09:20 AM
I'd buy it.

08-30-2008, 10:09 AM
Unless that for sale sign is a joke.....
No, it truely is For Sale.

I"m still considering buying it.. but I continually procrastinate.

08-30-2008, 05:08 PM
There's something a little bigger and faster I wish to replace it with. That is all I will say. :x

09-03-2008, 11:48 PM
I've seen those pictures before. I think I saw your car on kijiji. I've actually been looking to buy an early-to-mid 90s 3 series. I've been looking for a while now, but I think I've decided that I don't need a new car.

I'm looking forward to seeing what this "bigger and faster" car is.

09-30-2008, 11:33 PM
She is gone and will be missed, but I've moved on. I'll still get to see her every so often, but in the hands of someone else. :(

10-01-2008, 12:12 AM
What car are you driving now Driv3r if the BMW is not yours anymore?

10-01-2008, 01:59 AM

10-01-2008, 11:37 AM

10-01-2008, 12:36 PM
Couldn't have said it better Imprezzive. There is no need to change the status quo of ownership if all is going well. You injured your hand and you shouldn't drive manuals?
Take a bus or just drive it in high gear all the time. Although it would go slow, you wouldn't have to shift. I don't know if that's good for the tranny though....

10-01-2008, 01:52 PM
Meh... She was falling apart faster then I could afford to fix her. It was best we parted ways before she really died. I will get another one one day... maybe as a winter "beater".

Whoa the BMW is nice & how much is it worth? I wish I could afford to buy one.
