May not be the fastest car in the world but its more then enough for me.....plus it had the best handling of its time.....50/50 weight distribution anyone?
Meastro444 11-20-2007, 01:31 PM woah, looks nice!!
i do not see any reason to change rims, but that is me, i love these rims ;) also, can you show a picture of the Halo headlights?
regards
Meastro444
Dr.DooM 11-20-2007, 01:33 PM one word - Nice!
i do like my cars from that era!
this is on of my particular faveourites
Synthecide 11-20-2007, 05:06 PM Hey guys thanks for the replies...the only reason I wanted to change the rims was cuz the back passenger side rims is slightly corroded, and it's very hard to find good quality "Phone Dials" lol...so I'm thinking about the 993 Twistys.
As for the lights I will post a pic when I get a chance...they're nothing special though regular light with a plastic halo on the inside around the whole light....and generic xenon bulbs...but they were only 10 bucks so can't complain lol...and they look pretty cool at night.
Oh and I also have a 1993 Oldsmobile Achieva as a winter beater lol...
Imprezzive 11-20-2007, 05:07 PM Wow, your 944 is beautiful!
Killua 11-20-2007, 05:15 PM Hey, you got a pretty sweet car!
Synthecide 11-20-2007, 06:12 PM Thanks guys...will upload more pics once this crappy Canadian weather clears up.
Nicky'S_LuckieS 11-20-2007, 08:22 PM Awesome car man! My uncle used to have one, but he had to sell it because he was movin' out. :( This car is a beast! :D I also remember he had Fuch wheels on it... it was just outstanding... imagine with the twisties :D
osa_mah91 11-21-2007, 09:32 AM sweet ride! you lucky Punjabi Munday :P
NFSRacingExpert 11-21-2007, 12:44 PM yup that´s right, you´re lucky to have one...
Linkin 11-21-2007, 09:46 PM Great car, the 944 has been one of my 3 "favorite" cars for years (realistic cars I would buy, the other two are the E30 and the 300ZX). We owned a white one at one point, great fun.
I find red on those old cars is a difficult color to keep looking good, I also have a red E30 and it's a pain to keep it waxed every month. Did the 944 come with a clear coat? That's the biggest reason the paint is fading so fast on my other car, no clear. But when it looks good, it looks GOOD. I'm sure you know this as well. :P

Gotta agree with the waxing part....pain and a half, fortunately the car is stored for winter lol....gives my hands a break.
The car did come with clear coat, fortunately lol...however though, because the car is low, rocks and other road debris are a problem, especially on our highways....which is why I try and stay away from 'em.
Nice car! Looks to be in great condition! Well kept Porsche's are always great. :)
Dr.DooM 11-24-2007, 12:26 PM lmfao my mate got his mini anodized the other day lolol
mind, it will stop corrosion.
i have found that red is a hard colour to keep looking good on any vehicle :\
Most 994s here are not taken care of and look like crap, nice to see someone actually take care of their 'porsche'.
I didnt know they were 50/50 distributed though, very nice...
momaka 12-01-2007, 03:08 PM Wow Punjab, thats a great car! Looks like it's in great shape ;) . Like Linkin, this car has been one of my favorites as well, though I like the 1988 Turbo S model better (247 hp). I've read a lot of reviews about this car, and almost everyone said it has a really smooth ride, good handling, and is very stable. I've really been thinking about getting one too, though probably a few years from now (I don't have a job, and I'm still in college :P ).
Anyways, take more pictures of it cause I really like that car ;) . And if possible, make a few videos. IMO the 944's exhaust sound is awesome.

Thanks man, the ride is amazing surprisingly...especially since its got struts/springs in the front and torsion bars/shocks in the back, just don't try to drive it in snow or rain lol.
I definitely recommend this car to you...it's a superb highly reliable car (owned it for a year and spend a max of $100 on fixing it) for relatively cheap (good condition cars range from $6,000 to $12,000 for the later models). Parts may be a problem though...slightly expensive for hard to find stuff, however for the regular maintenance parts you can find 'em on ebay for cheap. Also try and stay away from the pre-85.5 models as they have a number of problems which are fixed in the later models, expensive problems.
Anyways, thanks for checking it out....and I hope you get one, cuz they are sweet IMO, I'll post more pics up soon and try get a video or two.
hondaman 12-02-2007, 01:50 PM Beautiful...looks better than factory new. :)

momaka 12-05-2007, 08:43 PM Nice key chain ;) . The interior looks pretty good too. Most 944s look way more beat up inside.
