No spoiler? IMO the car doesn't looks as good as it was before, but it looks unique, I've never seen a GTO without the wing.

Headers came in this afternoon, ordered my midpipes as the UPS man walked to the door.

..they reduced the price of the midpipes for me aswell as waived the shipping fee. They'll be here tomorrow...Talk about customer service!

It is an HID headlight conversion kit.

Turned my dull, nearly yellow stock headlights into a bright, Xenon headlamp. And since my car came OEM with projectors it makes it even better.

So...I changed the header gaskets, meant to throw some pictures on here but it was hot, things didnt want to work with me and it required 2 people. lol...finally throwing the Check Engine Light for the catalyst inefficiency code.

Been 2 months with the headers and catless mid pipes and it NOW throws the code haha.

Went to the track last Wednesday and ran a 13.0@109mph 0.05seconds away from a 12.99 timeslip.

Road course/Auto-X experience is coming up this year, cant wait :)

Yeah the car is pretty fast for whats done. I am 4th on the list of the Fastest Bolt on LS1 GTOs on the GTO website lol.

I need to get a stickier tire to try and stop that wheel hop, but I am afraid to get a drag radial or slick because last thing I need right now is to break an axle. :(

Soo...it's in the bodyshop again, getting some issues fixed from my accident. The drivers side rear suspension has been out of whack, the tire was rubbing on the quarter panel and the inside is wearing much more than the passenger side...as well as my radio deciding to stop working.

I am also looking at current new/used replacements yet again.

Volvo S60R, Mazdaspeed 3, Mazdaspeed 6, or new Cobalt SS...

Thats because the G8 can actually go for a spin. In contrast, the 72 challenger can go in for a line.

As much I loved the GTO, and love the G8/Commodore, I just cant afford the G8...31k is alot more than what I am trying to spend especially since I still owe more than what the dealer would give me for a trade in price on the GTO.

Pontiac GTO is an awesome Aussie ride converted to be an American. I don't like the yellow color though. I would prefer red or black. The G8 is nice too, but does it add any costs expenses because they're imported into the U.S.A from Australia? Pontiac is an American brand though even some of the cars are Australian made.

But the engine is American. I'd assume they're built in America as well. So probably the only thing about GTO that is Australian is it's incredible design.

Coming back from dropping off a package in Dover I hit an overpass filled with ice at around 50...car floated around a little..couldnt save it.

Hit the gaurdrail at like 40-50mph. Airbags didnt go off (wtf?) i hit the rearview mirror/roof (seatbelt always on)

I've got a horrible headache right now but need to get the hell to sleep (been up since yesterday afternoon)

Only lights that work still on the car:

Brake lights.
Low beams
Passenger side High beam
Hazards.

I'm going to the yard later today once I wake up, it's off of 72..so I'll grab some pictures."

when you have the headlights on, the only lights that work are the ebay HIDs. No tail lights or ambers. Brake lights work, and Hazards work but thats it.

Chassis damage can be repaired, but only if its a small ammount of damage. The car can be put in a jig which has hydraulic rams to push and pull and twist the chassis. As i said tho, this is only worthwhile if theres not much damage.

If it can be totalled/written off then I am not 100% sure yet. If I had a great job like before, I'd probably look at getting a 2008 G8 GT. Found one with 12k miles on it for $19.7k.

But realistically if the car is written off, and they dont give me what I owe on it, I will just pay the remainder off and then get another MK2 VW or an E30.

I've also been organizing a big GM LSx Meet/Dyno Day that went on 3/7/09 (this past saturday) I haven't seen any pictures yet but I put my car on the dyno, got some decent numbers and tweaked the tune a little bit afterwards.

I am the green line on the graph, and my numbers are on the top right. The red line is my friends 04 GTO. Same exact setup basically, just his is an auto and he has a Flowmaster Catback, where I have SLP Loudmouth.

As I said, we messed with the tune (added timing + fuel) I should be at 340-345whp right now.

Good numbers; saw a guy on another forum with a GTO like yours get very similar numbers. Glad to see the car back in 1 piece. Now KEEP it that way!

Went to the track last Friday, wasn't really prepped to great so I couldnt get a good E/T but I did get my best MPH...

If I can actually get traction, I should be at 12.7-12.5 judging by MPH with the weight of the car, thats if I can just match my best launch...if I can get my 60ft time down to 1.8 its even lower than a 12.5 :)

For example, the fastest bolt on only LS1 GTO ran 11.98@112MPH. I am 1mph off from being the fastest MPH bolt on car..

I was the 4th fastest stock and 4th fastest header only GTO on the East coast for some time ;)

It feels good when you see your recently sold car being appreciated (or loved, in other words) by the new owner. The way I loved that Impala, if the guy hadn't said he fell in love with the car I was gonna have a much harder time selling it.

He called me up a few weeks ago and we went down to Dover DE to pick up some 19's. Atleast I get to ride in the ole girl occasionally.
