i cant seem to find people racing online in the PC version of the game, is it a game bug or is it really empty all the time?

anyone else on their PC's have this problem? or is it just me?

It's not just you... Me too! I have a UK version - I expect I'm joining the Euro servers as the only players I race with are Euro (Like 3 Portuguese guys doing 5sec 1/4 in Camaro's!)

I had same thing with nfs:u2 - With a new, patched, install the lobby was empty nearly all the time. I found using a nocd solved it. I expect I should try nocd for pro street too.

I REALLY want to get on the US server - I've tried at all the usual times of day and I'm DEFINITELY seeing a few Europeans and no US players.

Any ideas anyone?

Should I change something in server.cfg - underneath the bit that says "do not change anything below here" ??

I see a folder called online too... Maybe that's where the change needs to take place.

My server.cfg file:

#
# The server sends a ping message to the client every PINGTIME seconds
# and the client is expected to respond within PINGWAIT seconds or
# the server considers the connection to be dead and the client is
# logged out.
#
PINGTIME=20
PINGWAIT=30

#
# A client can only be idle for TIMEIDLE minutes before it is
# automatically logged out. Even if a client is not idle it can
# only be connected for a maximum of TIMEMAXM minutes.
# Either/Both values can be set to 0 to mean that the server will
# not timeout the client.
#
TIMEIDLE=0
TIMEMAXM=0

#
# Limits how many times per second the LAN server will service requests.
# Lowering this number will increase game performance for slower computers
# at the expense of sluggish response time from the server. Valid range is
# 1-1000.
#
LAN_THROTTLE=30

Can any US players tell me what's in their server cfg? Check mine above - do you have different entries here:

TRUST_MATCH=%%bind("159.153.253.82")

and here:

ADDR=%%bind("159.153.253.82")

------------

I remember changing that last one in U2 to make hamachi work.
