as suggested in the "February Ride of the Month Finalists and Voting" thread, I wanted to have a competition with MuscleCarFreak's ride, Chucky. since we both have classic american muscle cars, we decided to pin our rides against each other just for fun and see how it would go. so, here's your options;

my vote goes to Chucky aswell. the Cat is a nice car aswell but i've always like the more bulky muscle cars myself.

I wouldn't mind doing another one sometime; but I wanted this to be specifically our two. nothing against everybody else, but I just really wanted to see how my car would do against MCF's.

Well this one is easy. The Cat gets the vote. I've always wanted a 67 cougar in a deep metallic blue.

I can't decide. Both of the owner's car are just amazing. Both of the car is really well taken care of, both of the car just is fast.

I believe the next battle should be between Kracka's GTO, Nuts4Ford's Mustang GT and Azrael's Camaro...

I like The Cat and the effort that was put into restoring it. Not only that, I do have a lot of respect for Sage as he was one of the very first friends I had made on NFSCars.

...BUT...

I also like Chucky. MCF has put a lot of effort in restoring it and made it into one badass muscle car. Plus, Chucky has quite a legacy (no pun intended), and bearing in mind that MCF is a member of the Subaru Mafia.

I really love Sage's Cougar.
What I find most interesting about it is that it's very well taken care of like everyone else says, amd I must say, I hate white cars.... but Sage's Cat looks surprisingly evil in White for some reason.
the Autometer Gauges give the red interior a perfect look, and he's got my favorite rims of all time on her.... American Racing Torque Thrust Ds in black.... I have dreams of finding those rims in the right size for Chucky.

And I cant forget that His Cat is more useful, which is something I really regret sometimes.
He's got on of those Muscle Cars that, anytime you want, take her out and go anywhere you want.... wanna get on it hard? go ahead. take her on the interstate, abuse her in some turns... Granted it wont hang like a new sports car, but those Cougars didnt have weak suspension packages either. Sage should have gotten my vote....

wow, thanks a bunch MCF. its story is very close to that of Chucky- my father started it when he bought it from a friend he worked with as, pretty much, a junker. not as much as what Chucky was, but it was nowhere close to where it's at now. my father passed away which meant the car would either be sold, or I'd continue from where he was at, and (obviously) I continued it. if the Cat wasn't mine, and somebody else entered it in this competition, I really don't know which I would vote for, as classic Chevy's have always been some of my favorite cars, especially ones like your Nova.

the aggressive style is probably the clever way that Mercury hid the headlights- it's one of my favorite parts of the car myself :)

Chucky doesn't have problems.... It's just geared to low to drive the interstate, or hit turns to fast....

... That and the fact that I'd rather not drive it in the rain....

Acceleration: Chucky would Blow the Cat out of the water.
Top Speed: The Cat would kill Chucky.
Handling: Chucky would forfit.
Horsepower: Chucky's pushing over 500 horses. I dont believe the Cat is pushing that much.

Exhaust Noise: Chucky can make your ears bleed. Not only that but standing beside is like getting punched in the chest multiple times.;)

Cat rings in at 475 hp exact. Chucky would make your ears bleed, but the Cat's engine noise would rival it. maybe this really is a draw :D
