Its got roof rails and mud flaps ATM thats all i have done to it, considering getting the engine remapped as it is a diesel a remap could give significant improvements in performance :)

its nice btw, atm the trip computer is telling me im getting 43MPG out of it :)
its not too shabby offroad either
though it could do with being a bit higher from the rough stuff, i sorta dinged my sump guard a little but meh, you can't see that :P

I've never cared for landrovers, the only ones i've seen 'round here are the big, ugly boxy suv's, but the curves on this one, and the silver color are very nice!

when i was a young lad *about a million years ago* (okay so i'm 29) i saw a 110 defender pickup and knew that thats what i wanted to drive
i first got a series 2 90, it was all i could afford at the time, it was pretty bog standard, did the job. Then i sold that got me a series 1 110 pickup
unfortunately this was stolen about 5 years later, it was found on the hills by the fire brigade - got left with a burning wreck.
so i bought a small nissan micra drove that untill i got promoted from a "mechanical fitter" "mechanical team leader" which basically means, i got loads more money so i bought one of these, because, when you get a bit older you will know that comfort is a nescessity, keeps the old doughnut from being in pain. well thats my excuse, i dont really have any trouble with my "doughnut" just keeps the wife happy :)

Niiiiice! At least you have proof you own it, lol. I've always like the Freelanders, I don't know why.

Little update:
i found loads of little rust patches all over the paint work, so small you cant notice them untill you look really close.

Aparently some of the earlier ones were given a defective paint job or something involving zinc coating.
so its gone back in for a full body respray and this zinc thingy.
when i get it back i have some bits and pieces waiting for it :)
i'll keep those a secret for now

Good thing you're fixing the rust now, this truck is too nice to be destroyed by rust! This one almost reminds me a ford edge, except much more.... elegant, yet aggressive.
