well, shes back! i got the starter rebuilt, she starts like a dream, changed the o2 sensor, no more running like a sack of shit. i tossed a sign on the tailgate and a turbobeam lightbar on the roof, washed her and did a few small repairs like door hinges.

theres actually a very nasty story behind her revival...
last monday, i had to dig her out and get her fired up. she was burried 1/4 of her drivers side flat tires in ice, got that dug out, then came teh battle of getting it pulled out of the pure sheet ice driveway. we decided for shits and giggles to fire it up, first shot she wanted to crank, but not enough battery juice. i was lucky as hell to get the starter to work. we get her out and tow her to my place from across town,about halfway there it falls off the trailer. i call a towtruck, luckily it was a driver i was looking for, he wanted to replace his lights with another that had mounting feet, his ( the DA turbobeam on black betty) wobbled and made his roof leak. i got a small deal from him. my buddy smelly had the car dolly before me and did some serious damage, which is why the truck fell off, i get 100 feet down the highway the trailer flys off, the towtruck driver blocked the highway. he wanted to put his lights on to warn people, but they didnt work, i attempted too, neither did mine. the next moring im heading off to the garage where my black truck was dropped off, the car dolly flies off, bounces off a school bus and drills a dodge ram head on. his fender was bashed in, the door skin was peeled back because the trailer skidded off the side of him aswell. a few hours and 3 tickets later, i get to the garage. the towtruck driver from monday night saw the wrecked trailer and came too see if i was at the garage, which i was, he was like "it flew off again didnt it?" then i rushed back home to build his new lightbar, the week kept getting worse from there.

Interesting lightbar choice too, I don't think I've seen that kind b4. Glad to see the 2 fords in company of each other, they look gr8! Striping on the hood looks gr8 too, very clean!

ive had other problems with the trailer before, nothing too serious, i was scrapping a grand marquis, it half fell off almost to teh scrapyard, so im like "**** it" and dragged it, one wheel was off, the otehr still chained, it just sqealled all the way there leaving and odd set of skidmarks.
and that lightbar, it was made by dominion auto, very popular in canada. DA was a canadain company in toronto. they had quite a nice linup of products, i think im only missing 3 of their lights, those are not for sale. DA went out of business about 6 years ago, then federal signal bought the turbobeam and the target tech name, now its the turbobeam2000. i dont like those, they dont have the cool looking reflectors. anything dominion auto is worth something, but theyll be worth more in a few years.

and that striping is a memorial of my dynasty.
