im not saying the finalists weren't interesting, just the idea of having a "ride of the month" needs something new to draw more attention to it. simply voting on a car every month gets boring.

to clear it up, im not in anyway saying the entrants are not appealing, simply that rotm needs something new to it.

a good start would be if there was a way to promote it more; then we'd have a higher voter turnout. such as having a place where you could nominate / vote on the main page, if it was possible. im just throwing ideas around, but i'd be more than happy to help out in any way possible.

we're trying to keep the main page for the NFS content, I suppose there could be a way to link the recent ROTM winner to the new thread., this however would create more work for mike, which we are trying to avoid.., we have had a good voters turnout before, being may/june, its getting crunch time for kids at school, work piling up for the rest of us.. barely have time to do anything.. I barely had time to vote myself., but I had managed. but it didnt look like hondaman even needed my vote.


as for publicity., we could make a news post every month but, only those who care about real rides vote, the others are only around to download cars, ask for help about NFS, dont care or start trouble.

the way things are going are fine, but if we must, we can push the nominations a week earlier in order to get more users involved.
