sorry for reviving, but i think that the Supra is best for drag, Silvia S15 is best for drift, same with RX-7 and AE86, for grip, a Pagani Zonda, for speed, Lamborgini Murcielago LP640, oh and don't use a Challenger, on final gear it goes out of control for an unknown reason, so be careful

so far for grip i use 911,Z4,lotus,67 vette, and concept camaro
for speed i use the 911 most of the time and the 911 brings in best points as well for some reason they give it lot more time to complete a track than others cars. also i use concept camaro and the SL65 for speed too
drag cars are the new shelby gt500 and the concept camaro any of those cars always does a great job.

i use the 911 the car never fly like crazy in the dessert speed tracks also it best handling and you get extra points as well with it.

Best Speed car for me is LP640 with all level 4 parts and some aero. Spoiler will do fine.
Ford GT with maxxed out parts is very good as a grip car.
I'm using AE86 for drifit since it seems to get insane points with relatively low speed and angle.
Killing every drag race with Corvette C6. Don't buy Z06 cos it's crap in ProStreet.

Earlier on I used to use:
Grip - WRX STi
Drag - Chevelle SS
Drift - RX8/RX7
Speed - Evo9/M3E92/GTR35/Zonda

Grip = 2nd blueprint of RYO's Evolution without Suspension @ 852 BHP
DRAG = Zonda F @ 1210 bhp, Supra @ 1076 bhp, CORVETTE C6 @ 871 bhp.
Speed = Zonda F @ 1016 bhp without Suspension.

very simple. just load vinyls .bin of bmwm3gtre46 and replace DDS files form my files and run game and enjoy;).

Okay. I figured out what the problem was: my Assist level was on casual, and it besically didn't make me go past certain speeds because of corners and bumps.

Can the 240SX do wheelies, if it has like stage3 suspension? If so, is it good at it? Because the Drag King's Mustang is terrible at wheelies, but is able to do them.

yes it can (amazingly) you have to tune rear shocks to stiff, and ease off the aero at the front of the car, one you time the shifts correctly, you should get around 150-200 m down the track (dont attempt in nevada, lol), not the best but it can anyway... charger is the easiest!!!, similar tuning and at goes all the way down the track with the front up!!8) 407m max for me!!!

and yes the drag king car sucks at wheelies, its seem like it loses ALL torque between shifts, perfect or not.

Ok so i have been playing pro street since it came out and i bought the Evo Evolution, Ford GT, BMW M3 E92, and the Camaro Concept from playstation network and i always have them when i start a new game the evo is the best for grip the camaro is the best for drag's and wheelie's the bmw works great for drift and the gt use to be my drag but then i started using the camaro so u dont need the gt i bought the laambo for speed and it is an amazing car with alot of horse power but im still not happy with it so i'm looking for a good speed car because all of my other cars are amazing and working great can anyone help i'm thinking bout buying the 911 turbo but not sure im really stuck on the situation and would be glad if someone could help me find a good speed car

The 911 is good for speed. I've also heard the Zonda works well, but I haven't tried it.
A personal favourite of mine is the Viper. Tune it right, and it's at least as good as the 911, so experiment with it to so which one you like best. You can get the Viper for free in the first race day after the second Showdown, or use the 'unlockallthings' cheat to make it appear in your garage.

Since my last post I've been trying the GTO for drag, and I must say I'm content. I don't know if it's the best car for the job, or that it is better than the Supra, but it's a good car. Next to try for drag is the classic Camaro.

For grip I'm still staying with the Evo X and GT-R R35

Drift - M3 E46 still works fine, but I've fallen in love with the Silvia's performance. I don't like its looks very much, but for drifting it's ideal.

Speed: I liked the Murcie, and i used the '08 GT-R
GRIP: Murcie, only murcie i win with great advantage.
Drift: Viper
Drag: Classic Camaro(5.8)/Supra-Zonda(couldnt find a good set up)

My favorite car out of all the cars is probably my Lancer Evo IX. It beat the grip king with ease. I made the ratios of the gears tall and set the suspension for oversteer. I just basically power slide around the track which is heaps of fun with a 4wd car. Togue, can you say? ^_^

It's a matter of personal taste so................
Drift:Supra (Simply fast and good handling, which is important for point boost)
Grip:RX8(Easy handling,and despite not the fastest. he's the one of the cars that's rarely goes off track). also all Nissans
Speed:GTR R35(Good Stability).Zonda F(best used for top speed challenge)
Drag:Charger(if it tuned right. you'll have the one of the best car for drag)

Everyone has their preference, so certain cars won't work with everyone.
Personally I use these:
Drag: Charger R/T and Supra for wheelies
Drift:RX-7
Speed: 911 Turbo
Grip: Gallardo Superleggera and Evo 9
With the charger(tuned) I turn out constant 7 sec 1/4 miles and 11 sec 1/2 miles
A properly tuned supra can do a wheelie for the entire strip
I use the RX-7, but really most RWD cars will do (see below)
For speed, I use the 911 Turbo since it has pretty decent grip: on one of the tighter turns at Autobahnring, I just take my hand of the accelerator and it takes the turn perfectly at 200 mph
Grip I think requires the most skill but a AWD car can help to stay on the track
Also, use a manual transmission- in drift, it helps to stay in second gear for the entire race- makes it easier to stay constant. In speed and grip, you can push the car more into the redline and increase the speeds of each gear. e.g- my 911 Turbo statistically has a top speed of 207 but with a manual, I can push it to a max of 235-6.
