Just watched this video here:
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/42521.html

The menu music heard there sounds like it was taken from a previous NFS game, I think it was High Stakes.

Thought it was pretty cool and nostalgic.

YEA! So that's why it sounded familiar! I can't believe it.

Yeah, I just commented on that on the main page.
I'm assuming it was put in by the GT editors when editing the video, as a nostalgic touch. I'm not getting my hopes up for the track being actually in the game, but it was still pretty cool to hear.

They need to bring back Romolo Di Prisco (AKA Morphadron)

And I turned off in-game music and just listening to old NFS music in WinAmp.
In that video EA Trax (which shows music title) has been blurred.

They need to bring back Romolo Di Prisco (AKA Morphadron)

How damn other racing game with great music like Ridge Racer still keeps their old music composers even to the recent installment. And the way Namco keeps its Sanodg, SamlingMasters Aya, SamplingMasters Mega, J99, Hiroshi Okubo and Tetsukazu Nakanishi.

Check this video for making the Most Wanted BMW M3 GTR the song in the background is a remix version of Photon Rez by Rom Di Prisco from NFS 4.

(edit) nevermind, I posted the same video CVPI19 linked - should've read the thread first. :|
Anyway, sounds like I was wrong with my assumption that it was GT's work.
Still a cool move by EA's pr guys, though.
