My car, bought it last week for $1500. Powered by a 2.3 liter turbo-intercooled (7 psi) 4-cylinder good for about 170HP and 185 lb. ft. of torque.

There are a couple of little things wrong with it, the muffler is mounted to the frame by a piece of steel wire that wasn't wrapped around tight enough and it rattles under acceleration, the moonroof doesn't work (it's off the track) and there's a slight leak coming out of the rack & pinion steering. Other than that, this car has been kept in pristine condition since bought new in 1988, with nearly all of the service records the previous 2 owners kept when they owned it.

Nice! I always liked those things. With minor bolts ons those things can produce some real nice numbers. Looks one that one was kept in good shape as well.

Yeah, mods for these 700 series cars are easy to do and are usually cheap. I've seen guys easily pump up the boost to 15 psi without problems using a manual boost controller.

Nice Volvo with a turbo engine and the price is a bargain. Are you going to tweak it with some mods?

Maybe an exhaust system + downpipe, turbo timer and maybe a MBC.

If I stay out of the boost, I can get about 20MPG!
