Killua 05-15-2009, 02:53 PM I'll say right away that my vote went to the Skyline. I have a strong weakness for R32s, and endo's car isn't the exception. Although, it was still hard to make a choice because each owner has put so much work on their cars, such as 2FAST4U has been doing lately on his sleeper Thunderbird.

The thunderbird shot doesn't do it justice though. Could we have a better shot?
Knowing that how much work 2FAST4U put into his Thunderbird, I think it should come on top first. Especially that it never won the ROTM before.

Perhaps I may be jumping the gun here, but I see this contest's demise in the near future. The fact that 2 out of the 5 cars, having been previous ROTM winners, re-appearing in the contest's resurrection is far from a good sign.

Just make a new rule that says a previous winner cannot be re-nominated. Simple as that.

On the topic of previous winners, I also felt it was a little redundant, and talked it over with Hondaman. He told me that every year the slate is wiped clean for nominations, which seems fair to me.

2FAST4U 05-25-2009, 11:08 AM When mainstream popular/sawed after cars like Skylines and such are in the poll, it's rare for our overlooked 80s/early 90s cruisers to get votes :P . Though even I'll admit that the R32 is my favorite Skyline; I'd take it over the R33, R34, and R35 in a heartbeat.
