mine is identical - color and everything. i took the wheel covers, which are the same too, and painted the steel rims gloss black. ive been running it like that. the covers are well.. ugly stock. 34 mpg without the lead foot anyways...lol other wise its near 28

nobody else offered 1 yr/unlimited miles warranty on engine. only 90 days. the lowest estimate I got at other shops, was $1249. I'd rather spend the extra 300 bucks and have a warranty!

Here is the wheel covers im thinking about buying for the subaru. Wheel covers because no money for actual rims.

New wheel covers set of 4 cost only $22.88 at Walmart.

The one of the left is the new wheel cover (obviously), and the one on the right is the originas. They actually look quite a bit like the original.

...would work, because none of them are the super-common types that you see on old Corollas and Geo Metros and whatever, and because all of those look fairly nice. However, I did a pricing search them at my zipcode, and two of them were more expensive than the ones you posted before.

However, I'm sort of surprised that it's so difficult to find even something like Subaru WRX stock wheels anywhere. I did a Google search for "Subaru WRX stock wheels" and found some guy selling a set of four for $200. That's pretty expensive relative to just getting wheel covers, but that still doesn't even approach what you'd pay for even one aftermarket wheel - someone else was selling a set of TWO Volk TE37s for about $750.

Then again, the guy selling the WRX wheels probably wasn't including any tires or anything, which would mean that you'd have to pay more than $200. I can see what you mean about wheels being expensive :\

Maybe wait until the tires wear out on the car and you have to buy a new set anyway. :P

it killed itself...its got 190k miles on it. it needs a ton more engine work, suspension work, drivetrain work, etc. it was going to cost about 2k to fix it. so i put $500 down and the car for trade and got into the trailblazer...a REALLY good trade, the blazer is almost brand new inside and out
