After the PMs are collected, I will send a list daily of the PMs I receive, you should eventually get a confirmation from EA themselves.

The reason for that is because the testing of this beta doesn't start until March so sometime in March is when you will get the e-mail if you are choosen.

@admins: you should add some new screenshots in the WO section, it seems that you forgot it.

The best car customization engine ever seen in a driving game. If you can dream it, you can create it in World.
Actually the best car cuztomization engine is Street Legal Racing. even if it isnt the realest driving Game, its the one with the best tuning.
You can tune everything, including:
Engine RPM, amount of nitrous injected, Gear relations and much more, and u can even disarm the engine part by part... the same with the suspension..
But im still waiting..

Got accepted... installed it.....cant play game, get a send/dont send error for nfswo.exe has encountered a problem, happens right after update screen...... im guessing this is using undercovers game engine? cause undercover HATES AMD XP single cores..and it does the same thing on undercover but shift loves it, and works perfectly.. i dont get it

I felt relieved after i read this, until now i thought that if i didn't get one NOW then i won't get it at all.
also a weird bug: im logged in on my account, and i see the "Apply for Beta" button. i log out and log in again because on EA forums people were writing it helps, i click the button and it shows the second step of the applying for beta process basically allowing me to apply again. I have not tried doing it as i dont want to cheat to get in but its just weird.

Its not that, Its that the game wont run for me. Like you can get into the main menu but it wont let you connect for normal people. For me, it crashes as soon as i hit the icon, as i said before, a nfswo.exe has encountered a problem, send/dont send error.

I'm a bit bummed out that I didn't get selected Darren. Why it does it take a while to get accepted? I have been wanting and waiting to test this game for a while and then do some comparsions to it and the final version of the game. :( I really want to see what new police cars are in the game other than the Charger SRT-8 Super Civic Cruiser that I seen in pics.

My laptop specs (2GhZ AMD Turion X2, 3GB DDR2 RAM, NVidia 8400M GS) are a perfect example of what an average laptop user might have. Still, I haven't got an email yet.

How could they know if I complain or not? I could be complaining all over the internet except here. They should pick on system specifications and information gathered about a person through their EA account and the registration process. I am a loyal fan, but I'm also realistic when looking at a game and I can very well point out strong assets and flaws in a game.

If randomness is the only variable involved here, I just hope I'll get picked for one of the next waves of beta testing. If not, I'd be a bit disappointed. Ahwell, the game is coming out this year anyway.

Thats what you would really need out of my specs. I dont understand... how can i run Shift at high-medium settings and not have World work when World needs less performance to work?

I'm starting to think the way I got into the beta is a bug: I didn't get an email, I followed NFSFREAK#1's advice and I got in. Sin, could you find out if this a 'legal' way to get into the beta? i think we keep it until the end of the beta then re download it when it officially releases. that's what i'v heard at least from people playing the beta

I believe the profiles are saved online which is why you login first before the game loads, and gives you the profile choices afterward.

Doubtful, those who participated in Round 1 will continue, while those who start Round 2 join those of Round 1, Round 1 players will require updating throughout, Round 2, will be downloading larger installation packs. and so forth.

And yes, your profiles are stored online. You can however go to to the EA website, log in and delete profiles manually.

Weird. I first got the email for the Fifa Online closed beta yesterday, and then today early morning I got the NFS Online email. Killing two birds with one stone. Shweet.

The newer your hardware and OS, definitely the more inclined they'll be to accept you. For the most part, the game will run on most Windows x86 versions. They're more interested in the obscure stuff. For example, I'm running 7 x64. They'll want to know how a 32-bit game runs on this 64-bit OS (which should be fine).

and i could play WO with visuals on low and still get 40FPS. the Minimum specs to play are WAY lower than that.

Currently the specs they put up are generic, once they are through the betas they will have a more intricate knowledge of what the lowest system specs are / will be.

Well the server goes back up tomorrow for Beta 2. I'm hoping the reason the game wouldn't load past a black screen and green cursor was because the server was down. It would be nice if they let you know that without manually having to check the site.

it doesn't matter how long ago you applied apparently. for example in my case i applied a day before the original beta testing and i got in the first day. just have to wait patiently or be lucky

If you say that you've had previous beta-testing experience, it's much more likely they'll accept you. They want people to report bugs, not just play the game.

Well, Beta 3 is up and they sent out another email even though I participated in Beta 2. Updating now, the update is ~247MB.

I got accepted. My life is now complete.

Can I still sen the PM? I hope I can.... But I didn't quite understand what I have to put into that PM. My English is a little bit rusty. Could Someone explain me what exactly should I do? I admit, I can be quite a dumb guy....
