Aileron 04-24-2010, 04:02 AM Wow 3 VWs! I voted for Tubaman's Passat B3.
RuubW 04-24-2010, 06:09 AM The Golf is cool but the Corrado is something else.
Tubaman 04-24-2010, 07:01 AM This was a hard one, but my vote went to the GTI...
DodgeBoy 04-24-2010, 07:10 AM Why is it always the same cars that get nominated?
Sir Tristan 04-24-2010, 07:18 AM Hard to vote!
It's between The B3, The G60 and the T-bird. The not-GTI Golf has been around for too short a period of time for me to judge it.
Why is it always the same cars that get nominated?
Cause eventually one of them has to become ROTM.
No offense Tubaman, but your car is too stock. Putting it on the front page is a big slap in the face to all the people who've spent thousands and have made sacrifices to get their cars to their current state. MCF's Chucky, R's Silvia, Kracka's GTO, Imprezzive's Legacy...I don't need to word out how different these cars were from yours.
Even if your car wins, people would be in a hurry to get it off there as soon as they can.
My suggestion is that you withdraw from the voting, and make a big come back with the same car with some added style, that properly represents a "dubocracy". Maybe some fatty wheels and lowered suspension. It really doesn't cost much. That's what I'd do if I were you. You don't need anyone pity vote, **** that.
Dr.DooM 04-24-2010, 07:31 AM I totally disagree GTR
OEM can have its own beauty, plus some of us don't have a very big budget to modify our vehicles.
MonsterMachina 04-24-2010, 07:59 AM My vote 2 Corrado.

That doesn't address anything I've said. Read my comment again.
It doesn't take a big budget to set a car apart from the rest of the boring cars out there. He could easily find a good set of fatty wheels (rims and tires) for around 200 to 300.
MCF used to do people's lawns just to make enough money to modify his Nova.

I agree with what you saying, i have maybe have put 4 to 500 bucks into it. Not that i would like to have my car on the home page, there are other cars that deserve that spot (like the T-bird) Just saying...

I'm sure he could, but im trying to say that there is nothing wrong with it the way it is, in its current state its a very nice car.
Though i guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I still think that removing it from the list is out of order.
stuntman 04-24-2010, 10:04 AM yea, the t birds been up there for years. bout time it got on the front page.
cobra0281 04-24-2010, 11:17 AM the volkswagen golf gti of Kracka is very nice... :D
cobra0281 04-24-2010, 11:22 AM my vote to the GTI

There is nothing wrong with it, for a 92 it's a pretty clean car. There's just nothing about it that sets it apart.
Allure 04-24-2010, 03:26 PM What GTR is trying to say is that the car is pretty neat but It's too regular to stand out from the crowd. I believe this is self-explanatory.
My vote goes to the GTI.
Woo hoo! 1000th post...
Necrology 04-24-2010, 04:40 PM TBird all the way. The man has put many many hours into it and it deserves the front page.

Killua 04-24-2010, 05:31 PM I thought the T-Bird had won atleast one time the ROTM... turns out I was wrong. Like Necro said, the owner deserves to have his work recognized, he worked a lot on it.
Dr.DooM 04-25-2010, 09:20 AM I can see what your saying to a lot of people it seems a very average car.

This quote I can sort of understand too. However you can only vote and not try and sway people away from voting for a car just because you think it is too stock, let the voters decide and stop trying to influence peoples votes!

Well, the thing is, Chucky and Kracka's Goat isn't qualified enough to be ROTM.
The Nova has been all but a forgotten project. Knowing that regardless of what I do to it, it will always be Uncle Chuck's car. I enjoyed it for awhile, but as far as driving it goes, ProStreet sucks to drive. I have actually grown to hate the feel of ProStreet, and having to constantly adjust valves and timing everytime I decide to take it out. A car should not have to be such a pain in the *** just to get it out, but thats what happens when you try to drive a race car like a daily driver.
To convert the style back so that I could do what I want, Pro Touring, It would cost me a hell of alot more to do so with the car I already have, than it would to just buy another Nova, and go from there.
And it goes without saying that Kracka's GTO cant be ROTM for the simple fact, he sold it.
Kracka 04-26-2010, 02:23 PM My car is indeed a GTI BeeTeaDubz for those wondering. Just has a VR6 ;)
My vote goes for the Passat :)
Also, my birthday is in May, it would be a great pleasure to come out victorious, even though the cars I am up against are pretty well deserving of the same title.
Dr.DooM 04-26-2010, 03:26 PM Its my brithday in may too, not that it matters AT ALL :P
good luck to all nominees!
stuntman 04-26-2010, 05:31 PM the thunderbird has to win!
