After finding a mint 240SX in 2006, and getting written off in 2007... I finally found another to replace her, in 2008. The car was originally from British Columbia, after searching Ontario and Ohio to find one that was not involved in any major accidents, or had any rust. I had always had an RB Dream for this car, and now it is a reality. Proof will come later this week, along with other updates.

holy shit :) you beat me to it with the RB :P
But damn, so many Rb25 swaps popping up all over the world lately :) sweet man.

How does it effect the handling with the extra weight up front?

Thanks guys. There is still a ton of stuff that has yet to be done.

Imprezzive, as long as it is anytime after next week

Killua, and t3ku, vids are coming.

Tex, if you go 26, you'll still have the better head :P. SR's are getting more difficult to acquire - noticed difficulty in obatining one in Trinidad, as well as in Canada. RB25's are still dime a dozen... Also, all the SR Boys are moving up in engines, if not cars. Got a couple of 2JZ and RB26 swaps over here (there is even a VH45 sitting in a S13), but not that many. The RB25 is more cost efficient to get power out of a F/I I6 - making it the more favorable. Have not run the car on the track as yet - only street driven. I did notice that turn in was slightly slower, but not as daramatic as some people make it out to be. Most of the weight gain comes with the RB25's tranny

Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who went from KA24 to RB25 - the KA weighs over 100 lbs more than the SR. But my brother has a SR'd S14, so hopefully him and I can get both cars out on the track for a small comparison run :)

SR's right now are in stlye so every body wants one. The RWD's are especially harder to get as you realized and and FWD SR's are selling for around $8000 TT, engine, harness and ECU. (for you other guys $1 TT = $6 US / roughly $4 canadian)

RB's how ever are in everything. Example:

BrErxbFpBxU

ohSZW1SS_40

And these are just the 2.0 liter versions. Dirt cheap right now.

these are the 2.5 L versions like TriniGT's

But anyway, how far you going to take this one TriniGT?
