Holy crap! I totally forgot about this forum up until today! I remembered my login and well I wanted to show new stuff on my car, but the thread got closed due to a 1 year revival.
Well anywho, Hello again everyone! Glad to be back.
Info on the car:
80k original miles
New Clevite Tri-metal race rod/main bearings
New OEM front case, with Balance shaft elimination
New Gates, Kevlar timing belt ( Done over 4th of july weekend, so barely a month on it)
New ARP head studs(4th of july)
New PTE 1000cc Fuel injectors (Only have 2k miles)
New Aeromotive a1000 fuel pressure regulator
New Cometic Headgasket (4th of july too)
New AEM wideband

2.5 Magnaflow Custom exhaust
SS Coolant hose
Metallic Cherry Coated VC and BOV, and Custom self made oil cap (Oil cap with real CF, cut from old hood, centerpiece. Painted CF Cherry red to match VC/BOV Looks sick!)
Buscher Racing C.O.P.s (Painted Gun Metal)
Ecmlink V3l
Tial 50mm BOV
Walbro 255hp
Punishment FMIC
SBR Gt-14 Dual ball bearing turbo (Gt35r bolt on for short/ 67lb/min) (Got 2k miles on it)
o2 Dump (Sounds sexy as hell!)
Turbo XS DUAL stage (the HP version) boost controller
Blue wire mod
Glowshift boost/oil pressure gauges
3 switch panel for BC/ACC/ACC. (The 2 ACC switches were for when I put in the 3" Cutout, and Co2 intercooler sprayer.)
HKS Turbo timer
CF Hood (has a couple cracks though)
1yr since rebuilt tranny (OEM spec, but held up at 380 no prob, just needs high stall torque converter)
Full line pressure mod
Aluminum Rear (Diamond plated)
New Khumo Ecsta 18
Enkie CDR9
New front bumper paint job
New paint ( 3 years old, not perfect, but pretty good)

According to DSMLink it's pushing around 350-380hp. Much more w/o the crappy exhaust. Current mods can support over 500hp, but it's only pushing around 20psi. It runs E85 At the moment aswell.

Questions, concerns or comments?
Thanks for the space.
Also I appologize if I didn't do the "proof" thing, The car is parked outside, doing the oil pump as we speak, and is JSB(Jack stand Ballin') so I can't get in the car (that and it's 11pm).
But I'm sure Dan can vouche for me, that it's real and my own. I'll take the pic tomorrow

One of the best and cleanest Talons I have ever seen. Far better than the horribly riced out or rusted ones I see.

I'm not really a fan of the Talon, or the Eclipse counterpart, but I really love yours. Probably because it's not just a poser car but it actually has some work done under the hood. Plus the body looks nice and clean too so that's a major plus. Nice choice of rims too. :)

Thanks for the support guys! Also this car is really well known here(My city). V8 guys know what's up and actually respect my car. Haha. The turbo is so much fun, It's a dual ball bearing 60trim, so it's huge, and sounds like a jet.
When I'm cruising and later floor it, It sounds like a jet taking off. I did a fly-by past a mean sounding trans am, as I flew by he gave me the thumbs up, and tried to catch up, but no luck, Haha.
I'll post videos of it soon, once I get it running (Waiting for a part, so tuesday since it's memorial day weekend)

Dayum, you must live in a good part of town to see eclipses like this. I never see eclipses with this much care put into them. I (and others) usually see rusted piles of scrap metal with a crappy F&F bumper and wing, with an ebay intake and loud 4" Fart cannon. I am much more worthy as I have dual 4"tips :P

No, dude, it was a crappy pun.

Your car eclipses other cars, as in outshines them, because others are often riced.

Oh haha, Thanks man. I thought you meant that you see these kinds of eclipses everywhere. Haha
So thanks again guys.
Please remember this car when "that time" comes. It's usually every month ;)

That's odd. All the Eclipses in my area are near bone stock. (All are non-GSX variants, probably FWD models) I've only seen one tuned, and it was done nicely.

Not much of a Tuner guy myself, but I must admit this is a nice ride... Not overly done on the outside, and got all the fast goodies inside. That engine is nice enough for the car shows. Good to see a car that isn't just all show, no go.

One thing though... We have had new guys in the past suddenly post some awesome cars claiming them to be theirs, but never followed the rules of the Member's Ride section.
If you can, you should end the suspicion with a few "proof photos." However, I do understand that you cant at the moment.

I can personally vouch for this one, it's legit.

I'm not much of a tuner guy either but this is a sweet ride. He's done it up right.

And I have ridden in it a few times, but usually the ones I see look like his, or there really riced out or completely destroyed because they don't take care of it.

Yeah they are dormant most of the time. The nice ones. The bad ones are the ones most people see. Haha

And for future reference, its just a 3S, for 3000GT/Stealth, 3Si is a forum.

Thanks! I think it's because it says your from England. I think they were only made for US/CAN markets. You probably heard of the Mitsubishi Eclipse though, it's 100% Exact same car, just a different badge.

Indeed they do thanks. Idk why but black makes it look lower too!

Very nice. Is the AWS tricky to drive?
And Aha... now it makes sense! I've heard people actually verbally say "3si" so I just went with that. I always wondered what the "i" in 3Si was. I thought they only made the 3k, and stealth. Haha thanks for clearing that up.

The i is for 'international' I for got that part. lol. And most of the time 4WS isnt a problem, I wont get into the details, its quite lengthy and this thread isnt about my car, :P but its its overrated imo, some people say its great but others (like me) believe it makes the car unpredictable around corners (back end tends to fish tale sometimes) Most 3S owners delete it/want to delete it. I currently have the kit to, just havent done it yet.

I have always liked the Eclipse's/Talon's design. And yours looks pretty smooth, that's how most people should modify them!

But, why are you selling it? Are you getting something a bit more powerful?

Thank you! Indeed I am, I am tired of auto, It's great for drag don't get me wrong, but you just don't get that enjoyment when your driving in the street. I hardly ever push it on the street because I, unlike other 18 year olds my age, am a responsible driver. I want another talon just 5 speed. And ofcourse faster.
That sucks, what happened?
Nothing really, just like I said, I want a 5speed street car. I originally bought it to be a drag car, but I gained some sense and realized that my fun would only be about 80 miles north, from 4-8 every Wednesday after April 21st, to October. I want my car to be fun everytime I drive, not just on Wednesdays. So 5speed is fun. Plus I'm going to make the next one more performance orientated than looks, although I won't skimp on looks either.

My cousin has a Talon pushin around 320hp; I find that Talon owners tend to be the least ricer-ish, and you continue to prove that. I can always respect a car that puts speed first.

As for the auto, can you not swap it out for a 5 speed? Thats what we did to my Thunderbird. It was an auto, I got tired of it, so I swapped in a 5 speed.

Thanks man I really appreciate that.

And I could, but the work/money/time/materials I do not have.
I could do the work, but I myself don't think I could do it properly. Doing these kind of mods is way easier compared to a 5spd swap. The money aspect involves a parts car. I would need the Rear end (Different ratio), a 5spd '96 transmission, transfercase, and possibly new axles (not 100% on axles).
Then I'd have to drill into the firewall for the clutchmaster/slave. It's do-able but very expensive. I also am a full time student with 4 day a week job. So finding time to do it would be hard.
I would love to soo bad, this was my first car, and has so much sentimental value to me, but I personally do not think I could achieve it. But I certainly will try.
I'll keep you guys updated.
I got some Evo rims, not sure which ones they are off of, since they have like 10 different combinations haha, but they are now painted black with a red lip.
I also got a new turbo (small albeit) but it's pushing like 30hp less than it did. The trade off is I have more torque low end, and it still pushes to redline. My old 35r didn't spool until almost 4krpm, so launches, 0-60times, 1/4mile times sucked. Now they are decent. Doing a boost look today, hoping to fix any other leaks, and I should be pushing around 400+ hp @30psi. Hoping for low 12's / high 11's, in the 1/4.
Pics up soon

Sickass car.

Did you do the 6 bolt swap yourself? Was it doing the crankwalk? Is it easy or a PITA?
