Do you remember the Sesto Elemento that I made? It is a crap and I said that I will do it better.
Here is the roof, is square for now, but I will add more detail when the basic shape is complete.
I expect a 3100 polies as max polycount, more than that is not supported by my NFS 3 and my Nvidia 6150.
I'm having problems with the windscreen.

I am not a good modeler (I create the scratch models with ZModeler), so I can't help you.
But I am expecting 3100 polygons (with 2-D wheels) so one good modeler can detail it more (about 20K of polygons) and make it for Most Wanted.

Since you are working on the basic shape, I can't critique your model at all until you create the high poly version. What I would suggest is that you work on on half of the car and take a look at the dimension of the car in order to understand where certain areas belong into.

Well you need to actually split the car since the original car has edges being shown into the body and move one vertex which is exactly above the wheel arches in order to fix with the shape of the car.

This is without the Flat-shading option, now that wheel arch looks good. I think that the line that you was talking about is that in the red square. Tanks a lot for your help man.
I can't critique your model at all until you create the high poly version.
Highpoly for me is 3K polygons. All critiques will be acepted, good ones and bad ones, since that is what I need.

Your wheels could use some tires on them. Looks nice, would you post a pic of the mesh without textures?

Title changed for Pomelo's work (everybody has one thread like this one) and now I'm dealing with an Aventador. Here is the progress until now:

And now... almost done the 3Dmodel. 3D rear air extractor, difusser, exaust and those two small holes before the windscreen.
If you want, I can upload the beta version, and when finish it I will remplace it.

i'm gonna go ahead and make my own aventador. it will be low poly and probably from the ferrari 550 maranello. i can't make high poly cars, and my computer has trouble running them (eight at the same time is a bit slow). but good luck anyways;)

How many polygons take your PC as max?
I got an idea: now I will send you the 3dz files to ZModeler and you can reduce the polygon count (I haven't texture, so you will have to make it). Anyway, my polycount is not higer that 3000.
If you want it sendme a PM. I have no problem.

The square version will be available to play in NFS3; the smoother one is just to see.
The HD Freyja has 3D intakes, doorlines, exausts and 'Freyja' '4.2' emblems.

the aventador's hood looks way too long, maybe make it shorter so it looks more boxer-like
(for modelling i suggest cinema 4d, i use it all the time, and most wanted's coming aventador is made with c4d by me...)
