So, i started playing Need for Speed : World yesterday. But im facing a problem. The game does not automatically detecd my gamepad, plus there is no option to configure one. (Not any option I found, that is. :P) My controller is Logitech Wireless F710.

EDIT: just saw that f710 is not in the list of suppported controllers. But f510 (previous gen.) and x360 controller is, and im running the game in xinput mode. I tried Dinput, but no luck.

Use regedit to find your controller's name. For my controller it is here:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\
Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick \OEM\VID_068E&PID_C010]
"OEMName"="..."

Where the "..." is the name of my contoller (CH USB device #1, an uncommon name).

I recommend you "export" the current setting to create a .reg file which you can then use to restore the registry setting instead of editting it again.

Then change the "..." to the name of a controller that is in NFS World's list of controllers, one that is similar to yours, and try that. After making the change, you should export another .reg file so you can switch between original name and the one that works for World by double clicking on the .reg files.
