July 2011 ROTM Nominations

Here's how this will go down. Below you will find a list of eligible cars. Eligible meaning proof has been shown for ownership, and has not won ROTM in the past year (winners from 2009 are eligible). If you are an owner and do not see your ride in the list, shoot me a PM and we will go from there.

Rules
-Only one nomination per person
-Three cars with the most nominations will make it into the voting thread
-For the next month's nomination thread, those three cars will not be allowed to be nominated, until the following month
-Only nominate cars from the list provided

Nominations will close June 24, 2011, and the voting thread will soon follow.

Remember, if you want to be part of ROTM, upload your car in the Members Rides section.

I've gotta nominate kingcars66's "Project Sleeper" 1988 Thunderbird for a number of reasons...

His car just flat out owns for one thing... 5 Speed 306 V8 Thunderbird... How can you go wrong with that?
His modifications are very tastefully done. No stupid stickers. Even though it's a 5 speed V8 swap, everything still looks factory... Hell even the rims are Ford Racing rims... He didn't waste time with attention to detail. Whats even better is the fact that it's reliability hasn't suffered one bit. It could easily be a daily driver if he wants it to be.
He's been very detailed with his progress and keeping us up to date. Videos that prove this car's potential is just a plus.

If his car doesn't win COTM in some point this year, it will truely show that this community doesn't really know jack shit about cars at a Gearhead level.

Wow I really appreciate the kind words. It's definitely not a flashy "look at me" car since that's just not my style (and also why it doesn't get loads of attention on here). I prefer the "wolf in sheep's clothing" theme. Glad to see that it's appreciated :) . As for the reliability, you're right. I daily drove the car up until very late December, only because I got my Turbo Coupe. It can easily go back to DD duty if need be.

As for my nomination, I'll throw a vote at Gk's Talon. I always like seeing people avoid the ricer look.
