*cough* yes well, I was looking for a daily driver to replace the Stealth because its not a DD car. And somehow I ended up with this. lol. Got it for $1300

1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4X4

I6 motor with 187k miles
Automatic
4" lift
33" tires. Theyre too big. They scrub the leaf springs. lol.

No real problems that Ive seen yet. Motor runs damn near perfect. Blinkers dont work due to a red neck rigging job. Now I gotta redo it. ugh.

No proof yet, I dont have a camera and no batteries for my video cameras. But I managed to squeeze this one out. Technically its a screenshot of a 2 second video, batteries died. lol. Ill get proof later.

Jeeps not a DD, Stealths not a DD. So theyre both my DD. Teamwork ftw.

My logic is a little funny.

Changing the wheels should do the trick, the offset on the stockers arent that great. Pick up a set of Cragar Soft 8s and that should fix your issue + make the truck look a little better.


If you plan on taking that truck off road, get some M/T tires.

Either BFG MudTerrain KM/KM2 (KM2 is MUCH quieter) or Definity Dakota M/T (I believe pepboys carries these, and they're much cheaper than the BFG)

So I just started shopping for wheels/tires for the Jeep and... OMG parts for the Stealth are expensive as hell! A full set of wheels for the jeep is the same price as 1.5 wheels for the stealth.

For the record this inst a through project like the Stealth was. Just fixing a few issues and thats it.

Yeah the finders are cut. Common thing people do for some off roading. Theyre usually cleaner cut. Ill fix it later.

Get new wheels, you shouldn't have any rubbing problems. Get a 15 x 8 with 3.75" back spacing. Steel wheels should run you $50 - $75 a wheel. Get some suspension, axle and under body shots. Looks like you got a nice deal, I've been considering on getting an XJ just because they're so damn cheap now.... But, I've got another project :)

Anyways. I pulled the steering column because the ignition switch was bad when I got it. The guy didnt want to go inside the steering column to fix it (more on that in a sec) So he cut a few wires, shoved them into the fuse box, and hot wired a button to the dash. As a result, nothing on the steering column worked. blinkers, wipers etc. What the dumb *** didnt know is that the switch is on the side of the column being held on by two bolts. The part he thought it was is no more than a regular key slot with a leaver going into the switch. Took me a whole 5 mins and $10 to replace. Fixing his shotty hot wiring job took longer to do then replacing the switch.

btw. Jeep dont have a radio either. Never mentioned that. haha. Ima get a cheap one from WalMart

whelp.. Jeep died. lol. I rolled it off roading :D only 1 3/4 rolls. And what did I do when I got out? I Plakned It!! hahaha. So yeah, it broke down on me 3 times since I got it, but it was fun. So I just got a Stealth again. Working on getting a 05+ 4x4 Dakota now. lol.

I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't drive that to work...in summer at least. Maybe go mudding on the weekends but that's about it.

I got 2 off my phone. Took these babies just before I sold it for $250. lol. Cant kill an XJ it still runs, tranny works only about 1/3 of the time but it still runs!

And apparently it was only 3/4 roll.. damn it. Felt like more. lol.
