Hello all,

I have posted mine and my dad's car (We share it!) on most websites.

http://img808.imageshack.us/img808/3369/1001319d.th.jpg (http://img808.imageshack.us/img808/3369/1001319d.jpg)

Brought 4? years ago for (AUD) $3000 with a damaged motor (Mitsubishi Galant) and have been working on it ever since. It had a rusted out floor pan the engine cover was missing so rain soaked it all the way through. It sits on a VW 1600 chassis. It was parked 2 houses down from my place and was seen in tall grass never moved about 6 years before.

It now has a Alfa Romeo Cloverleaf motor in it, attached to the VW gear box with a alfasud adapter plate, the main car colour was original red but my dad and I decided to go with Electric Blue (Ford BA XR8 Blue)

Hey hey, nothing wrong with your pictures there. The only requirement in this forum rule section is you need to have a proof picture. By that i mean write your username and show it while you're in the vehicle.

But on the car, this looks pretty interesting. And something unique from all the other cars we've seen. :)

Not the most pleasant looking car, but its awesome for a $3000 kit car, that's for sure.

Not really a fan of kit cars (at least Fiero based ones), but this looks pretty nice.

I never understood why people tend to pick Fieros for it. It's just wrecking a nice car. The vw 1600 chassis surprises me though, but I can imagine that working.

Besides, forgot to mention I like the engine you put in. You can't go wrong with an Alfa motor :)

Now that is cool! I never thought I would see a kit car on NFSCars.

It must have been a fun project. :)

Well... Couldn't answer that. Reason why is because due to it being on a VW gearbox and being at the back of the car (When the Alfa cloverleaf has it in the front) There could be major difference's but it will go like stink because of the weight of the car is about 780kg. Myself and my dad have been told it has more then enough power because of it. We have a Holden Commodore radiator, so it has more then recommended water.

Anyways, short answer.. Not sure at this point. :P

i think it needs to be way lower, and get rid of that hood :)

The hood was a design idea, my dad and I sketched the design as was want to make it independent and our own creation. :) We like it and its very different from other Eureka's.

It also is low enough, it has new gas shock suspension and hasn't been driven yet. The tires needed to be larger. Kitcar to be licensed it has to go through a thing called "pits" and must comply with the height rules and other safety inspections. We have already been warned about the height. Ages ago before new tires came along, the exhaust pipes actually scraped on our driveway while trying to drive up it, my house driveway isn't on a up hill or anything either.

This has a Alfa Romeo 33 Cloverleaf.
1.7 litre
1712 cc
136.9 PS (135 bhp) (100.7 kW) @ 6500 rpm
Maximum torque 157.0 Nm (116 ft·lb) (16 kgm)

Least that's what it says here > http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=36344

Actually I do, it gives the opportunity to us to make cool cars without having to spend insane amounts of cash on them. Assume that someone would manufacture Pervis Eureka's as proper supercars, I think you'd be paying 10 times more.

Even though lacking the skills, a Lancia Stratos kit car would be an option for me though.

I know that the point is to make you look like you own something cool or rare even though you don't. But I don't understand why would you want to do it.

Same thing goes for the Factory Five Shelby Cobra kit cars.

From my point of view and since I have one...

I enjoy having total freedom of customizing and changing whatever I want on it, people with their eureka's put popup headlights in, they put Porsche engine's in them. Or they make them a convertible or targa top. You just have a complete freedom and ability to do anything. There is only 5 Eureka's in Perth, Australia where I live. Least that's the total that I have been told. Kitcars give people the ability to do anything to it without restrictions of chassis and other components, or they can provide people with replica supercars without having to pay extreme amounts to have one.

Yes. You can always buy a Stratos kit car (on Competizione's case) and try to annihilate the Nuovo Stratos.

Or you can build a Cobra replica with a 1200 BHP engine...that's for me.

No offence but I would never go near a kit car you had built, even more so if it had 1200 ponies :|

I like this kit car, that door mechanism is CRAZY! looks like something out of an 80's "future" film.

+1.

You can do anything on it. Aside from crashing it to a tree...
