i bought shift 2 for my pc recently and when i went to install i typed in the code on the back of the manual and then it wanted to connect to the internet to register or activate or something. but i dont have internet on my pc. is there any way of activating it without being connected or can i have more details on why/how it needs activation so i can work a way around it? maybe there is a downloadable hack to get around the activating thing? i want to play this game sooooo bad. well actually mostly the customization but whatever.

Since you bought the game, getting a crack will be a waste of your money. Just activate it online somewhere and you're done.
