indeed!

and that's really sad :-/ it had quite realistic physics (when compared to today's games...) and it was an "open world" racing (with open world i mean, the races were set on exotic track, not on closed ones)... and this has really changed... nowadays i sometimes play shift 2, it has nice physics and damage model too... but it's not the same on closed tracks without traffic... i really appreciate this game, and i wonder why they've forgotten what the good things about the series have been... like exotic cars exotic tracks nice music and sound effects, and at last but not at least: the physics were much closer to realism as they are today... i wonder why every racing game is arcade nowadays, except FIA GT racing games, F1 games etc....
i wish they made games like in the old times for just one year...
i'm sure, i'd buy the limited editions of them before they appear on the shelves of the markets... as i see today only mommy and daddy buy games for their 5-10 year old sons (mostly)... no wonder... games are quite expensive, and the quality isn't that good anymore as it was once... (with quality i mean the whole gameplay)
