well, yesterday i picked up a tranny for my car, 200$. then, that night i got my old man to ask about a dynasty thats been sitting next to his shop for a year belonging to a garage across the yard. the owner wasnt around but a worker said take what you want and ill let him know. i waited until today and asked the owner. while waitinbg we heard him talking on the phone about interbreeding and when he was done we asked. he didnt even kow he still had the car, and wasnt sure if he still did, we told him it was still there and he said take what you want from it. i needed a fender and trunk lid real bad, scott needed a fuel rail. we opened up the hood and i noticed it had no battery, so i couldnt pop the trunk, we took th hood off so i could get at the fender and i decided to keep the hood and put in in the truck. i gave up on the fender after a bit anbd took the battery from the truck and put it in the dynasty and popped the trunk. i took the trunk off and worked on the ehadlights and grille. i got all the lights off, headlights, taillights, and signals, tossed them all in the truck. then i worked at the inside of the car, took the dashboar. we took a break for lunch and came back. i started again on the fender, nothing but troble. theres very tight and awkward bolts between the door and i tore up my hands getting them. i also hacked up my hands getting the bolts under it. i took a break from that and worked on the alternator. that had to come, worth 300$. i went back the the fender, there was 4 bolts left in the front, one at the top of the nose panel, one at the bottom and 2 on th bumper. while i worked at that, scott was working on taking the rad, a 500$ value, he gave up. i cut the top bolt on the fender at the top of the nose panel and then pulled like hell and busted thge nose panel at the bottom of the signal light. then i got frustrated and pulled the nose panel all the way around and it popped off, which was really good because i really wanted that to hang on my wall. i cut the bumper and got the fender, it was cheapo rubber and just ripped the rest. and thats pretty much it for our 8 hour adventure, it was fun, painfull and tiring, but the amount of fun it was made up for the bad, plus my dad kept bringing us water and cookies. i kept asking if he should be inside workin. anyhoo, heres some pics
