Need help with Generic Viagra Spam how to stop this please

Hey guys, sorry if this is wrong section or place to ask but maybe someone can help me. My forum just got bombarded with viagra spam, what can you advice me please what tools can i get to stop it?

I was trying to google something about this but with no avail. Sorry to bother but really need some help with this.

that sounds like a really hard situation to deal with, but I'm not really sure if you came to the right place. I would imagine, as stiff as you might be with the forum, you might have to let it go.

Seriously, it sounds like maybe starting over might be a good alternative

1. Registration of users is important, using the proper registration techniques will prevent about half of all spamming bots.
2. Moderation of posts, if your forum is quite active it is a little more difficult to put everyone on a moderated list, however, it does eliminate quite a flood of spam posts.
3. More moderators who are active at key points of the day will keep the threads to a minimum when they appear.

You notice even NFSCars gets those bots as well, but our Staff Moderators, along with the reporting by the members helps to eliminate the spam efficiently.
