Anyways, I have a logo I use on some stuff I designed it in photoshop a long time ago, and long story short the quality istn that great, simply cause Im not too good at creating something out of nothing in ps. I was wanting to know if anyone wanted to make a good professional looking version. Anyone want to do it?

right sorry, the resolution is good, I just shrank it to put it up on here. The quality is my main issue, the edges are a bit rough and I want them smooth and the spiky things to come to a point (I want them to look sharp like a blade). I basically just made the outline, then filled it in with color and it looks a bit cheap. I just want it to look good and smooth not rough and crappy. And I dont have the skills to make it look better, myself.
Id also like it do be in color cause I messed up and made it in black and white mode. Im thinking of red, but it dont matter as long as its a color. I can always do the hue/saturation thing. heres the bigger version. Last edited by GreedyTurbo529; 05-08-2010 at 12:42 PM.. |

Using Vector Shapes is your solution.

I totally didnt think of that. Ill look into it. Thanks sin. Itll be like making a design on Forza. lol.
Vector Shapes is turning out to be not as helpful as what Id had hoped. I cant even find a place to get them for free. Besides those other places, and I dont like to use them. But I did just think of a good idea Imma try now. ![]() Last edited by GreedyTurbo529; 05-08-2010 at 06:15 PM.. |

A trial version of illustrator may be the best option for creating vector images if you do not already have something.

Sin is right. Any logo is designed with vectors so they can be resized on demand without losing any quality.
I designed quite a few logos in my life for different people and what you got there looks pretty official (except for the text). As for the background pattern on it I'd say use a little bit of bevel, minimize the shading part, make it soft, and turn the color into a soft gradient of white-red. Either that or just send me the file ![]() |
