GTA IV Ruiner and Faction cars

I noticed the GTA IV Ruiner and Faction are very similar to a GNX and f-body, respectively. Anyone know if this is some inside reference? Did someone from the f-body faction work on GTA IV?

endo works for Rockstar. endo and Rick made a GNX. that became Faction. endo was once with F-body Faction. that became the Camarobird otherwise known as Ruiner (from mecha the ruiner, of course).

I'm fairly certain both were homages to the groups F-body Faction and Ruiners Inc. too however.

that was an easter egg that blew my mind when I jacked both cars and saw the names.

I have dozens of unfinished cars (3rd gens in particular), but with my work schedule and the being almost 30 thing I don't know lol.

I'll open zmod every few months and take a look at models, and I'll tinker with them, I still somehow remember how it all works, but then I'll get tired of it and not look at it for a long time again. the crew kinda grew up too, they're not kids in high school anymore, they're out making money now and stuff haha

the whole attitude's changed around here, it's kinda sad, cause I had a lot of fun doing this. EA really screwed us from NFS5 onward.

never say never, but it's not looking that spectacular at this moment.

Zmod somehow still exists on my computer, along with all my work... I occasionally take a trip down memory lane, but something about it... It's totally lost it's luster, that's for sure!

Really do miss the days... but been working the same job for nearly 7 years, dating this really nice girl for the past month, Chucky is in need of a new paint job, my Taurus is in need of a new transmission, I'm finally moving into my first true house in the next two weeks... MCF has grown old and busy... ugh

I've been messing with Zmod lately as it appears everyone has--admittedly it's somewhat dated, but -dang-, it works.

C'mon mecha, we need some of those FBF cars. GTA4, maybe? Or I could definitely still go for NFS5, after playing through the entire game again last fall it still has plenty of life in it.
