This will not open up Geometry from Most Wanted and Undercover I would love to see the next release have support for Underground, Most Wanted, Carbon, ProStreet and Undercover.

Let's not pressurize dav. Time will tell whether we will see other games being supported by the converter.

Absolutely. Although it might be a better idea to hold off the publicity until the app reaches the beta stage at least. I'm sure the author wouldn't appreciate too many complaints about various quirks and unresolved incompatibilities coming too soon.

Some Questions about GeoEd and other...
  1. Is it possible to use many matarials on one part (couse when I export model from max there 5 materials on the part, but when I import it to GeoEd and open mat ed there is only one material, but maping is corect if look in viewer, so it seems that all materials are just merged)
  2. Is it possible to add or delete mount points, I mean if I need for example 4 mount points for exoust and the replaced car has only one will it be possible to add more (for example in MW we could use unlimited number of dumies\mount points (no matter now it's called ) so will it be posible in U2)
  3. Is it possible to change diameter of exoust flame
  4. Will it be possible to replace textures in TEXTURES.BIN with bigger ones, I mean use textures larger then 512*512
  5. And finaly how change wheels position? I'm almoust sure that it just like in MW stored in some files in GLOBAL folder, so we need smth like VLTedit just for U2

There should be a function, later of course, to create Textures.bin with bigger texs. and a better 3d viewer(to move mount points and look around the scene like in zmodeler) also this tool is a bit too complicated than the texed's
maybe make it a bit simpler as in usage(user friendly)

Ok, I know nothing about modelling and NFS modding, but these are my ideas:

- Maybe a ZModeler plugin, so that the geometry files can be loaded into it.
- A modloader or something? I mean, I don't know how all of this works, so we need a tool that can be used to replace cars in an easy way.

I've found where are wheel positions. They are stored in GlobalB.lzc
check this:

change those '97' to (for example) '57' , then save and run the game and you'll see Ford Focus's front wheels are moved to the back, change to higher numbers and the wheels will go to the front.

Robin'7t4, I don`t understand my situation: I export model with options as on your screenshot, but at import there is memory leak and the program shut down with C++ error. This is screenshot:

This error is not caused by memory leak. This error is fixed in version on I'm working now.

Ho... ly... sh...

It's finally happening - there will finally be new cars available for the newest Need for Speed that my computer actually runs well(Most Wanted barely runs on minimal settings, and I'm sure attempting to run Carbon on this thing would likely brick my comp...)!

I hope to someday replace the Focus with the Cobalt SS from MW and the H2 with some huge sexy beast by Robin...

Just wonderin', though - does this mean that we'll be able to get the Corsa and 106 in the US version without necessitating those special save files?

hi everyone! Today I download the geoed and texed to work on my u2... nice ... everything works I do some texture editing and its its cool... whatever.. here is the problem - after last edit all of my files of the game ( I mean in game folder\GLOBAL... or game folder\CARS) become in format "Archive TexEd" or something like that, and my game doesn't want to start anymore :0 ( for example - the file "globalb.bun" became only "global" - wTF?! and in the under the name of the file is written "archive texed" ... ) where is the f**kin" problem with my game - I delete the program, but it don't works. What I'm supposed to do? I have a lot of mods in my game - almost all of my cars were over 1000bhp and stuffs like that, I was thinkin' to release my mod soon here, but now it's impossible if I fix the problem i will work on that to add some new cars (btw dav_POLAND u're the best man ;D great programs) Sorry for my bad english, if someone can help me but doesn't know what I'm writing here, tell me I will do some pics of my problem.

As there is only one wheel in geometry file; what would you do if you needed wider tires on the rear axle? is that not possible..?

dude this is totally good,, i love u2 because of the drift,, i can now complete my tokyo drift cars,,,, and its body kits luv u dav,, and for the modders,, i actually mod vinyls the 350zx? dk's ride? ( http://www.nfscars.net/showroom/view...nd2/36245.aspx ) well i love it so can any one make a vielside body kit for the 350Z? and rx7 even can you make a mustang fastback that replace mustang gt? and replace wait i have a suggestion about replacements but its better to add it do you get me guys? i love this game u2 is the best game for me,, so here's my suggestion

Hmm well I started to try replacing parts, but I have no idea what the materials have to be like. The new parts are all blue, shiney and blink ingame very fast. What do the materials have to be named like and such?

there is bug in material editor which is fixed in version on I am working now.

This data is probably in globals.lzc. I try to find this when I will write data editor for NFS-GeoEd.

New version features:
- updated mount points list
- updated exporter to version 1.3
(exported files has material data)
- added clear checked parts function
- fixed importing from .OBJ format
(now program do not crash)
- fixed material editor
- added functions ADD and DELETE to mount points editor
- fixed compatibility with archives saved by NFS-TexEd
- added zoom information in viewer bar

Write any suggestions or mount point for update.

Hmm... Well, I'm staying with my suggestion for some kind of modloader. I mean, I don't know anything about this modelling stuff, and how I would have to get new cars into the game.

And another question: this may sound dumb, but will custom rearview mirrors be available?
