My Shortest

15.6 seconds while I attempted a mad dash around the highway.

My Longest

23:47 minutes. I wasn't even trying to wreck them anymore, and they STILL manage to lose me (My only complaint to the new pursuit system).

How do you do that? For some reason the cops just let me go after over 5 minutes....

when they start letting you go, slow down and let them catch up and call for more backup, or, if you get into cooldown mode and then find more police again, it makes it easier.

Longest: um, 24 minutes or so.
Shortest: 7 Seconds.

I think it should help if you go through all the heat levels within a single pursuit. The thing is, I have no idea how to reduce the heat level in a way that wouldn't affect the indicator alone.

I've kind of lost hope of breaking that record (my objective is 30') since I resorted to a simple trick of driving around in circles in a traffic-free area with 4 SUV's on my tail. After around 5 minutes of this mindless 'fun' the SUV's 'decided' that they lost sight of me. (Lazy bastards!) That pursuit lasted a little over 24 minutes.

Oh yeah, another tip: don't go smashing through them roadblocks. Avoid them and, if the cops on your tail won't waste their roadblock friends, the latter will join the pursuit.

Additionally, try to refrain from using the SpeedBreaker to 'break' the PIT maneuvers, as this often leads to the offending cop car getting disabled.

Alright, one more: you can pretty much do what you want within the first 15-16 minutes. After that there will be no more roadblocks, ie no reinforcements. This is when you reeeaaally need to start 'protecting' the cops still left on your tail. Lead them away from heavy traffic & (most of all) pursuit breakers. Paradoxical, isn't it? :-)

hello every one new person member here.

i heard about pursuit records and stuff. so

here's my record on NFS Carbon (only):

Shortest Pursuit time: 0.03 seconds
Longest pursuit time: 26 min.
cops Rammed: 62-64

Car used: Dodge Viper.

Cant remember shortest but longest was 36 mins, was ticked off too because i got so tired, it was like 2:00 am, and i hit a spike =/

@ ghost-314: This list is for UC. In MW & Carbon you can get chased for hours if you so choose, because the reinforcements never cease coming.

shortest:0.00(Not kidding!)

if you have the wii version,or ps2 version,the cops seem to be slightly more agressive so you can last longer.

I know that they never gonna stop and still wants my vehicle. But.. Longest or Shortest pursuit does not matter to me anymore 'cause all i care about is drive and drive forget the feeling that I was still chased by cops and it never goes away.

And my longest I'll have to look later.. But it was probably About 14 Minutes.. The challenges are the only thing that kept me into the pursuit..

shortest was about 30 secs. i hid in an alley

longest was about 27 min...it was on hard though, and i wasnt trying to wreck them anymmore either. just find a cooldown spot.

Well, never really tried going for it, so just took a go at it now.

Longest: 16:11.68 (see SS)
Shortest: I dont know, had some pretty quick ones where they saw me, I turned around a corner, the meter showed pretty quick and there was an evade spot like right next to me. Something under 10-15 seconds.

edit: could proberly have gone on for longer But they are showing "D'antagnan and the three musketeers" in the tv in 5mins, so

i have done the uc career and i haven't been busted any time... the police system sucks..

my longest pursuit time in most wanted was about 2 1/2 hours. i also went like 5 min. on 1 flat tire.

My shortest was about 10 seconds.

My longest was about 10 minutes. Maybe 20. It's been so long I can't remember.
