Ferrari 348tb - 15th Update (brake disc+caliper) - 22th March 2005
Well, some of you maybe noticed that i lost my 308 GTB QV(pic- http://www.nfscars.net/forum/attachm...tachmentid=905 ) due to hdd crash

What about the 512 from Hamman ?

hey nice to hear that you would maybe do a Hamann one too. About the thing that it looks like a Koenigs Special. It is very well point but KS did never tune a 512M as far I know. the Testarossa KS made looks a bit familare yes, andthe strong body modifactions of KS on the smaller Ferraris could be like that. But its really a Hamann tuning, also when they usuall only make BMW's. A little Ferrari and now a Gallardo Lamborghini are inside there list to.

I must do the 348, because the 512M blueprint is so bad(inaccurate and not matching as well), that i can't model a sh*t from it.
Well, the 348 blueprint looks accurate, so lets see if it will be easy to model from. BTW it's long time from my last model, so don't expect much... (308GTB will stay as the best i ever did) |

... I guess this will teach us to backup our work DAILY!!! my last backup was done 1.5 month ago...about the car - 348... if it turns out as good as your 308 could., it'll be perfect

Just started today on the 348 and discovered that it will take some time before i'll get my modelling skills 'back to hand'.
Here is wire/flatshade/normals pics, but i must change polyplacement on the skirt, because it looks somehow weird...  |

Very nice start as usual, friend... You´ve got a nice car there, are you modeling in Zmod? ....your pics look so sharp and accurate that it doesn´t seems to be taken in Zmod. Maybe am I missing some D3D settings on mine?  ..need to check that...Well, this will be a nice pair for my current project, but sure thing the 308 was a perfect pair for it. GReetZ []´s Spirit.

Flawless... Other thing that did catch my attetion was the fact that on all you screenschots, the faces are 2-sided, how did you get that in Zmod? I don´t think you copy and reorient the body just to take the screenshots, and I could´t find the option for it there. bahm everyday is a day to learn some sh!t about Zmod, ...I dare to say that I don´t even use half of the settings of it... Hellova!! nice car so far. Sorry to hear about the 308 I was looking foward to that peice. I know it sucks, I just lost my inprogess cars about a week ago to to a virus on my PC and had to reinstall Windows, so the 612, F430, and FX are POOFED! The Rossa I was updateing the H3LL out of was luckly saved on a memory stick though.
Anyhow I think you should do the 348 and then mod it to a 355 since its the upgraded version, easy to change, and badly wanted. I then think you should try the F512M next so there will be another one besides mine(need some compitition, and am sure it would be better than mine, it was my second car). After you make the F512M you could then mod it aswell to the 512 TR and original Testy with ease. You could then have plenty of cars for everyone to eat up, and enjoy. Then its all game after that I guess. Keep em' coming hope to see this one done soon.

@Spirit: To get 2-Sided in Zmodeler, you just select all the faces, go into FCE Custom Settings and make the faces "No Cull (Double Sided)".
