Police Garage is down at the moment

For those who have been wondering why Police Garage is not available since Saturday its been down due to domain issues and for the time being myself, FP (Francis at Police Garage) and NFSPoliceForce do not know when it will be up and running again until these domain issues are fixed.

Thanks Buddy I was just going to post that :-) The work is in progress .It really FP that is working on it.It a server problem .But it will be up soon .We have not shut down the site .

Looks like Francis once he gets this matter straighten out will have to find a new domain but Police Garage will be back its gone for now. Its not gone for good it will take a while until things are fixed other wise Police Garage will return in the future.

Sorry but the status and fate is the same at the moment it will take a while until we find out when the site will be running again.

CVPI19, make sure you let Francis know that folks are still interested in the site and its content. If he doesn't want the hassle of running it, maybe he can arrange to have the files transferred to another site.

I'd hate to see everything disappear, as happened with Pursuit, Inc.

Hosting is not an issue. This is a legal issue that has gone too far and is worth millions of dollars. It just turns out Police Garage was a part of this ordeal. I have 20 servers as it stands, hosting it is not a problem, it is a matter of regaining legal rights.

Thanks Francis for pointing that out however if anyone wants the cars from the site you can ask me or NFSPoliceForce for them. So let's not suggest on hosting the site here on this server as Francis said its a legal issue that has gone too far.

I did but as Francis has stated it is a legal issue not a domain issue I thought I tell you this and sorry it took so long to reply.

The legal issues have nothing to do with Police Garage, but with the way they were hosted. All files were stored on a very complex file system, which I have patented... my previous host decided to shut me down randomly has run away with the entire structure. Since Police Garage was part of my company scheme, it has been affected by this.

So if the whole PG stuff was re-arranged to represent a "normal" file system, the site could be running again without any legal issues?

Anyway, good to hear it's still not a problem to release highly realistic cruisers for HS and good luck with your lawsuit!

Been thinking about trying to make a couple of easy cars, but don't want to waste my time if I can't release them because of using PG bases (which are the only bases I have).

I think the best thing to do as it seems to me the server is trying to pull a fast one and just steal Francis's and others files is just for him to upload the cars from PoliceGarage to here..They'd be safe here as Sinister doesn't take any BS from servers and always helps this site come through ^_^ Anyway that's what I'd do If I was him so people can again enjoy it's files.

Police Garage was a great site and so was nd4spd world and Holland Modifieds too bad they're all no longer operating as they were my favourite NFS sites. I would really like to see the cars you made.

I think it would be best to post them on NFS Cars because there was so many files and it's hard to remember all the names of cars and such. Texhnolith said he probably has some police vehicles too but I'd need to know the names of them before he'd be able to help anyone.
