Default Last Movie You've Seen

Post the most recent movie you've seen and a quick opinion/rating on it. Feel free to post every time you see a new one.

I'll start it off.

Sex Drive (2008)

Funny movie. Not a huge fan of teen-humor comedies but every now and then they're good for a laugh. The GTO Judge and Felicia were beautiful.

3.5/5

Same Movie Thanks Aru.

I give it 4/5 because Seth Green makes a good amish, and the amish chick and the main chick in the movie are sweet.

A Scanner Darkly (2006)

I really liked it, surprisingly. I remember seeing commercials about it that year but I didn't follow up on watching it until a couple of days ago. The Rotoscoping or whatever the movie is composed of was not a distraction as I had thought it would be. Winona Ryder is a qt too.

Eagle Eye (2008)

After seeing a trailer on TV I thought that it might be a cool movie but I'm giving it 3.9/5. I like the premise and whole concept in general but it feels like there is something missing and movie sort of leaves you demanding more even though you already see the credits rolling.

Patriot Games (1992)

It's a pretty swert film. I've seen it before but felt like watching it again. Good if you like the Tom Clancy books/movies.

Knowing (2009)

4/5

Very good movie, I was quite surprised actually. And it's not the typical Nicholas Cage movie like I expected, it's a lot different. The movie is very mysterious and very creepy at some points. Kept me at the edge of my seat the whole movie.

very interesting plot, got very confusing because the movie doesn't go in chronological order, took me awhile to get it.

Last movie I saw was Valkyrie (2009).

Excellently written, not watered down like a lot of historically-based films. Most of the actors resembled their historical counterparts. Didn't like the whole Reserve-Army-having-MP40s thing (since that part wasn't very realistic). I also didn't see much of Graf von Stauffenberg, though, but rather a lot of Tom Cruise.

Still, well-written and acted. 4.5/5.

I saw 2 today

Knowing, 7/10, not bad but the ending was kinda like wtf?

12 Rounds, 8.5/10, pretty kickass action and good twists.

Quantum of Solace (2008 )

The actions sequences were great and that part in the Opera concert was really cool. There was just some minor elements that I didn't liked but it still good.

Spiderman 3 for me.
A good film, plenty of good action sequences, but the emo bit in the middle is a bit much.
Special effects are great.
3.5/5.

And now I'm off to watch Quantum of Solace, just picked it up on Bluray, I imagine it'll look and sound very very good. ^__^

Just watched it again today. I am gonna have to give it 3/5 just because it's not as good as other Bond movies. The action is there but the story line is mediocre. I am also not a fan of Daniel Craig.

Felon (2008)

This was a pretty heartwrenching movie. The acting wasn't amazing at first, but it really picked up and Val Kilmer was awesome. Don't go to jail.

And yesterday, The Fly (1986).

Was a bit nasty in some parts, but I enjoyed it.

One of the worst movies ever made... but the cars are cool and it's ok for watching when you're desperately bored - 2/5 for cars...
Diamonds Are Forever (dont remember the year pretty sure it was late 60.s-early70s) - a great bond, 4/5
Quantum of Solace - 5/5, loved it all.

Just recently saw this, it was in thai language, but thank god that i had English subtitles. Pretty good movie, more like, epic. Action scenes were probably the best in it.

yeah, loads. but none of them were injured or chopped like the first one. they were used in one part of action scene. (i think it was the guy who tried to smack the villain's face with his leg or something.)

Twilight

I was generally impressed, from everything thing I had heard and people downing the movie I thought it would be out right terrible, but no. Movie had a very good plot, good actors and the special effects were great.
This movie is nothing like Buffy or Angel or any other vampire/fantasy show, it stands alone in my opinion.

Knowing (2009)

★★★★★,maybe a bit high but it was a very, very intense movie that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
***SPOILER***
The ending was quite unrealistic but I don`t expect alien/apocalyptic movies to be realistic.

Also, all this talk of Quantum Of Solace,I didn`t like the movie at all. No cool gadgets, one scene with the DBS,
***SPOILER***
Moneypenny was nice but they didn`t have to show her covered in tar...
Pierce Brosnan was a better Bond.
