just got a 6minute, 29.500 lap in my zonda R on Nurburgring.......i will post my tune tomorrow.....
EDIT* make that 6 min 26.500 sec lap time.......

PS3 Controller (on ps3 obviously), all aids are off (just depends how experienced you are)
Advanced Tune Settings

Tires and Brakes

F. Tire Pressure - 26.38
R. Tire Pressure - 26.23
Break Balance - 54.50
Alignment

Steering Lock -29.00
Caster Angle - 4.25 F. Toe Angle - 0.40
R. Toe Angle - -0.20
F. Camber - -2.10
R. Camber - -1.30
F. Ride Height - 75.00
R. Ride Height - 95.00

Springs and Dampers

F. Sway Bar - 342.62
R. Sway Bar - 199.86
F. Spring Rate - 599.58
R. Spring Rate - 728.06
F. Bump Stop Length - 4.00
R. Bump Stop Length - 2.00
F. Damper Slow Bump - 4,400.00
R. Damper Slow Bump - 3,500.00
F. Damper Fast Bump - 2,400.00
R. Damper Fast Bump - 2,400.00
F. Damper Slow Rebound - 9,700.00
R. Damper Slow Rebound - 8,000.00
F. Damper Fast Rebound - 5,000.00
R. Damper Fast Rebound - 5,600.00

Differential

L. Slip Acceleration Lock - 55.00
L. Slip Deceleration Lock - 65.00
L. Slip Preload - 60.00 (Default. Haven't really seen a reason to shift the torque)
Visco Electronic Lock - 15.00

Gearing

1st - 3.31
2nd - 2.09
3rd - 1.49
4th - 1.09
5th - 0.97
6th - 0.69
- Final Drive is N/A.

Aerodynamics

F. Downforce - 9.00
R. Downforce - 9.00
Cooler Radiator Opening - 0.00
Brake Duct Opening - 4.00 (Would like to set this to 5.00 but the game keeps resetting the values )

These settings tame the overall snap the Zonda R has in the corners under low to mid range throttle, it's still a bit tail happy but it's very controllable. It still has a slight tendency to oversteer if you get a little too happy with the throttle on the exit of a tight bend.

Overall, it's very stable in straight line speed/stability, corners like a gem and it'll slide when you want or need it to

The Zonda R now handles very well in corners with the proper throttle, but it's still capable of stepping out but it's very controllable; same as before just a bit more stable. If you use these settings DO NOT try to blip the throttle when turning into a tight corner in the lower RPM range, you'll either oversteer, or in the case you try to level it out by letting go of the throttle it might snap back into the corner when you try to gain control. If it ends up being too much for you, I'd suggest shifting the torque range with the Preload adjustment (limited slip).

any feedback????

What times are you netting with that setup on the popular tracks?

e.g. Nords, Laguna Seca, Spa, Road America.

only realy tested on nords with a 6min 26.500sec run.......
just found something on xbox.com:

Steering Dead Zone-15%
Accel Dead Zone-10%
Brake Dead Zone-10%
Steering sensitivity-5%
Acell Sensitivity -5%
Brake sensitivity-5%
Speed steering Sensitivity 100%

this makes the game feel sooooooo much better!

im going to try and see what times are achieveable with this setup in laguna seca...... be back with results soon.......

laguna seca with this setup . best lap so far is 1 minute 17.465 seconds. not the quickest time possible as i've not raced this track beforehand much in nfs shift...

C'mon people......post!

I used the settings you posted above for my Zonda R and found it to drive well, but in fast corners I found that the rear end wanted to bounce around and suddenly lose traction. For me it was just a simple matter of using a looser spring setting for the front and rear springs. I set the front spring rate at 466.34 and the rear spring rate at 566.27.

Everything else worked flawlessly for me though. Thanks for the post!

Forgot to mention that I'm running on a PC with a xbox 360 controller. I dont know if the games handle differently on different platforms.

I'm looking for a setting with the 67' Cevrolette Corvette Stringray. All Fully tuned w/ 2nd bodykit.
Should be good for mid corners and tight ones too. Any ideas?

Try this savegame, miminalist setups, but it's what I use for online play since patch 1.02 was released:

http://rcgldr.net/nfss/nfss.zip

unrestricted: Pagani Zonda R - 0/1 downforce for most tracks.
unrestricted: Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 - high downforce for small tracks like Alpental or Tokyo.

14.0: Lamborghini Murcielago LP540 - high downforce, but still good for most tracks

10.0: 1967 Corvette StingRay - oversteers a bit at start of race before tires warm up.

6.0: Chevorlet Colbalt SS - oversteers if lift throttle, accelerate to stop oversteer.

4.0: Mazda MX5 - a bit oversteer prone.

Best car for NO Oversteer or Understeer is the Audi R8 fully tuned. It's the best car. Too bad there isn't a Works conversion
