I know with some other/older games it was possible to either edit a cfg file or edit the *.exe command with a manually entered resolution to get the game to play @ a higher resolution then allowed in the in game settings.
Is its possible with the two games in title? I am playing on a 23" display and would like to run it @ higher resolution or at least try to. Anyone have advice/knowledge to offer regarding this? Thank you for your time. |

Wrong section - first.
Use MWRes by Racer_S to customize Most Wanted resolution. You can find this tool on various sites, including here. As for UG2, I'm not sure if such tool was ever created. I might be wrong though. Moved to General NFS Discussion. Last edited by FOX; 2 Weeks Ago at 12:51 PM. |

Thanks for the response.
Okay, call me an idiot, I search on these forums and find mention/references to the app but the only DL link I found, took me to a GTA site and getting no results on that page or the forums there? What am I missing? Last edited by FOX; 1 Week Ago at 01:25 PM. |

yeah tried with google and brings up all kinds of references most from what I can tell are not even related to the game/app but file names etc, even something about tobacco?????
Searching the GTA site doesn't show any links/files even under the file archive. Last edited by Merge_Lane; 1 Week Ago at 01:18 PM. |

I agree that I had to look around a bit to find it (doesn't seem to be distributed across the major NFS sites as much as I expected), only to find out I had it already, but overlooked it.
![]() Anyway, see attachment.

thanks for posting it, I had already found it when I posted previously, just that no one seems to mention the FULL NAME, just the MWres, which isn't that helpful, especially if your new around here it seems.
After I started searching for the full name it came up much easier to find a DL for. |

Get the universal widescreen patcher here:
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...ndex.php/UniWS You can set it to your monitors native resolution. Looks great in game.
