Hey what's goin on everyone? I heared some talk about the S7 if you think that's amazing for an 8 cylinder I'm wondering what you think of the Neon based SRT-4!

0-60-5.6

0-100-13.9

1/4 mile-14.2@101.5

With an inline four cylinder that is turbocharged it can kick out a claimed massive 215 hp and 245 lbs/ft torque! In the latest Road and Track, they tested the SRT-4 and they actually took it on a dyno and figured out it actually got 238 hp which is pretty massive for a factory four cylinder under 20g's. In fact it is the fastest stock car under 20 g's. The SRT-4 is the 2nd fastest car in the Dodge lineup besides the Viper! The car is only a front wheel drive car and it can smoke a 25,287 Subaru WRX in almost every test. The braking on this four banger is also amazing stoping at a staggering 60-0 in 122 ft. !! The turbo is also never noted to lag unlike the WRX.

I haven't been able to find any aftermarket companies who have customized an SRT-4. If you have found one let me know. If you wanna find out more go to www.dodge.com!

THE FASTEST CAR UNDER $20,000! PERIOD!

Default Dodge SRT-4

The SRT-4 is a great car. In a couple of the magazines I got it beat all of the other cars they tested against it. Now if only I had $20k

Well take this update either way but I just found out that dodge is running a limited production run of the WRX killer, the SRT-4. The number Dodge is aiming to sell 7500 to 10,000 vehicles each year for four years! Get your orders in soon if you want them!

Tell me what you think about Dodge's idea of limited production!

I think they oughta make more than that! :eyes:

Default Yes

I would assume a 4wd inline 6 that is turbocharged could beat a fwd 4 cylinder that is turbocharged. But I'm sure it wouldn't beat the SRT-4 by much! :dopey:

Well, for the cash I would say that the SRT-4 is the better buy.

The SRT-4 is quite a deal for the money. Even though the engine is rated at 215 hp, independent dyno runs of stock SRT-4's showed that the car actually does something closer to 230 hp at the wheels 8O

How about a V-6 with 4wd?
Like this?

I'm sure this would run circles around the SRT-4 no problem.
